-ohhh take care lilo -must be a lot of work clearing out your mom`s house I remember when my mom moved from the house ,my brother threw out a bunch of stuff (even an antique rug beater) when I was working -I would have loved to do it along with him that day
-hubby`s back is killing him maybe cause he slept on son`s new couch ,so I will rub it for him with the back rub and watch that he takes it easy -he does have degenerating discs he was told years back and sometimes anything can set them off
-off to hang my clothing out soon

Hope you heal quickly Lilo
Don't these injuries always come at the worst time. I remember about a month after we moved into out house and finally had the renovations done and were starting to settle in and I ripped my big toe nail partially off. This put everything on hold as I could barely walk and was told to stay off my foot as much as possible.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I have to admit I have a love/hate relationship with sleeping in. I usually wish I could but when I do I hate it because I usually feel groggy all day. Today I slept till 8 and have to admit this time I feel so much better for it. For at least the last 2 weeks I have had a horrible time when it comes to sleep. I keep waking up at odd hours (anywhere from 1 am to 4 am) and am wide awake. I have tried a few natural options to try to help but it is hit or miss if it works and if it does work it seems to only be for 1 night. Hopefully I can catch up on some sleep and be in a better spot going into this week.
Not sure on the plan for today yet as Mom is a bit all over the place on things to do and I know we won't get it all done. But I am hoping we can get the backyard done. More than anything I am hoping nothing lived in our BBQ this year as that was hell to clean up last year.
I do have to remember to take an allergy pill before we head out as my allergies are in full gear right now. So far no skin reactions which is awesome as those make life miserable. When I have skin reactions I tend to have to go into hiding and not go outside as even with pills I will have break outs. Since the skin break outs are hit and miss usually if I have them getting into an allergist is next to impossible within a reasonable time frame. Last time it was going to be a 8 to 10 week wait so by the time I would have gotten the shots the reactions would have cleared due to going into fall.
Alright well better get at this for today or we will get nothing done. Have a wonderful day everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good Morning! Still in bed here too! Getting up now. Will make bacon and eggs since I have open bacon to use up and tons of eggs. Then kid will be full for a few hours. Lots to Do so will be scratching stuff off my list. One thing is return the empties. Like 2 years worth lol but will be happy once that is done then the garage can be cleaned out. Tomorrow is free breakfast and gift at the casino which is a great drive Sunday morning. Then can stop at Costco on way home.

Well we got the deck cleaned but now everything has been pushed the patio. We will need to gather it and dispose of it but it was just too hot today. Good news is we can use the deck.
Also convinced Mom to move the BBQ to the other side of the deck which means less steps down when carrying food.We have a multi level deck and originally the BBQ was on the bottom level but that meant an 8" (or so, never measured) step down wioth food in your hands which I did not like. In it's new only it is only a couple inches down and much easier to do with food in your hands.
Something did live in our BBQ again but was not as bad as last year, they did not actually build a nest this year. We cleaned it out and cleaned out the bottom. Now we just need to wash the grates in bleach water but want to do that outside.
We were planning to BBQ for dinner but decided to run out to get a new cover and a new fan for living room and the rain came well we were out so no BBQing for us tonight. Instead we stopped and grabbed burgers and poutine on the way home as our house is way too hot to cook. If I ever move again central air is a must as I am over this no AC living.
We still need to grab a propane tank but didn't want to haul that in, in the rain so if need be I will run out tomorrow for one.
Normally Mom always drives when we go out as she is not a good passenger but the AC has gone in her car so I am doing the driving. I do not have my car right now as it is in for service. The loaner I have the backdoor squeaks which apparently drives Mom insane as she kept asking me not to put anything in the back seat.
Hoping the rain clears overnight so I can finish up the BBQ tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great night2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Today was a stay in day. So far. I folded laundry and put it away. Fed the dogs.
Made cookies. Did transcription.
Cleaned dragons eyes. Theyve been a little goopy/crusty lately but improved since 2 weeks ago. Sorta cleaned the floor.
My meds were changed and it drives me nuts... three pens of a sealed injectable med... will just be thrown out now because i had to have 2 pens for the last week while they decided on a change or not. The pharmacy throws them. The hospital cant pass them on to someone in need. Changes of meds in the middle of a fill feel sooooo wasteful. I admit im tempted to use the scrip til its used up and then adjust.

The garage sale was a success, even if we weren’t as busy as usual. It was 32 and sunny, so we stayed open longer than usual. We clear rd $180.25 from today’s sales. We also made $20 in sales for our neighbour. All of our children helped set up and pack up. The shed has a lot more room now and I posted a bunch of empty moving boxes for free. We are pretty exhausted, but this was only our first sale of the year. Our son made $6 from selling cold bottles of coke, which I bought with the PC offer.
edit: I’ve started my new list of people to contact for our next garage sale. I’ve already had people contact me when we were packing up at 4pm, so hopefully she will come to our next sale.Last edited by Angela273; Sat, May 26th, 2018 at 09:35 PM.
