morning all -well I just bought a few more items from the bay -sebastians figurines -he loves playing with animal figures and they are pretty costly -a few weeks back I gave him a turtle and as I was talking to daughter yesterday I heard her say where,s your turtle as he was playing with it -so this morning I bought 7 figures all on sale at the bay plus I got 10% off from a previous problem-so his birthday gift is almost done and his birthday is in sept -it pays to shop ahead when you see a sale

plus my daughter doesn't have the room for large toys and I am sure he will get much excitement out of these figures as he states the animal,s name and they sound they make right after he says it -lol

morning all. it is already hot and muggy. I tried working outside in the backyard.. that lasted about 45 min.. to gross to work in the sun. I will wait till the afternoon... and work on the side and the front.
we need to head back to costco for middle childs glasses. I will pick up something to toss on the bbq for supper, and make it easy on myself.
I am hoping to get out in teh shade and get the side done today.

    Good Morning,
Finished the BBQ clean out this morning, scrubbed everything down with soapy bleachy water. Just need to do the outside now, we bought some wipes yesterday I will try.

We also flooded the BBQ with Soapy Bleachy water to try to clean it out as we do not have a hose. It is now air drying.

I tried to get it done earlier when it was cooler and the sun wasn't in the backyard but that did not work, it was still so hot.

Laundry is going. We need to tackle the kitchen but it is so hot.

Hope everyone has a great day

Yay, I can walk. By about non yesterday I could put pressure on my foot. Thankfully I had packed running shoes so I wore those to protect my foot. My dad had a huge barn full of stuff so we had two dumpsters and a load of his friends to help and the ladies all worked inside so the barn is done and house is well on its way. I got home about 2 and am relaxing with a glass of wine.

Finally got the BBQ done, it was been scrubbed from top to bottom, taken apart and put back together. To celebrate I am doing BBQ Steak,, Roasted Potatoes & Grilled Marinated Veggies (Mix of Peppers, Onions, Zucchini & Mushrooms).

This afternoon I went and exchanged the second propane tank we had. I thought about just trying to get it filled but there was rust on the top which means they will not fill with rust but the propane exchange will take back a tank with rust. So now we have a second tank ready to go. Also figured I would do it well I have the loaner since it is an SUV which would probably make it easier then doing it in my car.

Also got all of the garbage out of the backyard, old BBQ cover, some stuff out of the BBQ and the stuff I used to scrub it. As well took the kitchen garbage out.

Well I am off to look up some recipes to cook Salmon on the BBQ as I found some in the freezer and think that will be dinner tomorrow. Have a great night everyone

My sister texted me to call mom right away. She was in a panic as she lost her PC Optimum card. She went back to the store and asked if anyone had turned it in. She scoured the sidewalks and the inside of the store. She turned all her bags inside out. She tore her purse apart.

When I asked her which card it was (fob, main card, or Dad's card) she said it was the account card. I had no idea what she meant until 15 minutes later, I realized she's been using the old card from a year ago with the new card. The cashier probably finally threw it out since all the points were transferred long ago and either didn't tell her, or she didn't notice she told her.

That put me about an hour behind getting the girls to the park. The rest of the night was spent on bathtime and shoveling in dinner. Now the words "fast and furious" remind me of the bedtime routine and not of some movie.

After the children and DH went to bed, I stepped out to buy milk from SDM. They were completely out and I had to visit another. One hour later, I'm home, facing another load of laundry before bed.

The morning will bring a new day of hectic skedaddling trying to work out this report for work that I've never done and have no idea how to do. Well, wish me luck! I will likely pack lunches while the laundry is going. I have presoaked any stains and now I'm off to hand scrub!

Today was a pretty good day. I watched Lilo and Stich with our kids this morning. I hadn’t seen that movie in years. It took me about an hour to try on my box full of summer clothes. Very few of the bottoms fit me, they are too small. I know I put on about 10lbs, which is why I wasn’t looking forward to this particular chore. I took twin boy with me to Sobeys. Used an FPC rotisserie chicken for lunch and there is lots of leftovers for supper tomorrow. I picked up 2 containers of vanilla yogurt, best by May 31. I remember to get rain checks for the strawberries and chicken thighs. Some laundry is done, more to do tomorrow. We all caught an afternoon nap. I returned the unsold items to our neighbour and gave her the $20 from the sale. Our other neighbour stopped me to ask about the sale. I shared some advice for her next yard sale. She will likely do a sale on the same Saturday as us in July, to help foot traffic. I cooked frozen pot stickers for supper for the first time. We liked them, but our twins certainly did not. Vacuumed the house. Everyone is ready for tomorrow.

We booked a babysitter for a couple hours tomorrow night. Our friend invited a bunch of friends to Mr. Mikes for supper to celebrate her birthday. The kids and the babysitter are having leftover rotisserie chicken, KD, and veggies.
