Estevan received a record 34.2 mm on May 29, eclipsing the 29.5 mm that fell in 1962. Until that rainfall, Estevan had received just 18.6 mm of rain in the prior 58 days leading up to the soaking. More rain is in the forecast. I am sending some little kids home with their dirty clothes in a bag. That’s one of the reasons that I insist on having extra clothes here for anyone in my care.

Can anyone tell me if we still earn PC Optimum points when we fuel up at the No Frills gas station?

I just realized that what pc chat say to me was insane....I got pc points on my bill but not all...why they are telling me I cannot get points with paying with points...That is so ridiculous.....

Supper was o sole mioo pasta with rosee sauce,so delicious!!! And we have leftovers!!!! I did not get a chance to start my familly album of pictures scanned,I am on spring cleaning ...so much things need to be done( need to wash the sheets and the carpets,wash the floor do the dusting and aspirator)... I will continue tomorrow and friday.I will go to maxi tomorrow to go pick up my free 5 o sole miooo small lasagnas with the 2$ peelie making them free..and if I have more space during the week I will purchase others with the 1,00$ peelie coupon,still cheap.And some nescafé instant coffee @3,77$ too.Wishing everyone an awesome evening and night!!!!

@Shwa Girl -might you be able to answer this? I think I recall that you bought gas at a Loblaws affliated station before?
@Angela 273 - I found an interesting Tweet in this artlcle link-someone mentioned that Loblaws gas stations were sold to Mobil >Mobil and Esso will both be offering PC Optimum points OR Esso Extra points (cannot double-dip points on both programs). Is your NF gas station a Mobil branded one?

Speaking of spring cleaning, I have yet to unplug the fridge and empty the pantry cupboard to vacuum behind both units yet. I will wait for either empty house (just me) or for the weather to cool down, then just do it. I keep looking at light fixtures-one always seems to need a dead insect removed or a light bulb needs replacing (money going out of my wallet ).

I could not resist the 89 cent bottle (2L) of PC Cola this afternoon. Brain said sugar is needed (and I had about 1L of coconut water this morning but still...).

Laundry was done this morning. Bathroom mat is clean and fresh and so are my walking shoes-washed them right after grasscutting was done. Trimmed edge grass with hedge clippers. Mom is having a pain day and so I did the dishes too and swept the floor.

BTW, if you are in Ontario and still did not get your voter registration card, the Toronto Star reported that Canada Post had a mechanical issue that delayed about 500000 cards in their system. I know on Monday when I was waiting for the advance voting site to open, there were a few people without their cards but the others did have their cards. We were told the cards in the mail.

Yes you do, the closest station to mom is at the independent and I get points every time, and gas is often 10 cents a litre cheaper so I have been filling up there weekly since I am driving back and forth.

The 3 last laundry loads are washed and dry in the balcony!!! It will sure dry fast with the breeze and the 30 degres!!!! Books on the floors are now in the desk,vaccued the bedroom and the carpets now I need to pick up the bags on the floor and vaccue the rest of the floor maybe this afternoon or tomorrow morning because I am exausted with this heat lol...

Well, shopping didn't get done last night since my husband got injured at work. He's okay - got a wound on his temple from a flying two by four. Gah!
