Oh wait, I was supposed to be blurb-less...ah, well, here we have another spectacularly underwhelming Walmart flyer. There's also a little magazine thingy good for 2 weeks, "Style book", ho hum, look for it. Not sure if all regions will have it, or not...


And, now I really am blurb-less...ciao, people, have a good rest-of-the-week!

Quick note: there's a $1 off Sweet Baby Ray's coupon in one of the Red Plum or Smart Source, or whatever it's called coupon booklet, in the upcoming week. At least, for those who will get it...not sure if everyone gets it, or only certain areas.

Thanks for mentioning the Style Book! I'll check the store when I return to see if an item is restocked that is in the current flyer. I know I did not get the earlier Style Book with my flyers--chance find at the store before Easter.

Can someone tell me - does Walmart Canada still 1) price match, and 2) give overage?

I don't shop there often - too far - but I vaguely remember a cashier there saying no more price matching.

1. Walmart DEFINITELY does ad matching! (It's on the bottom of the first page of the flyer. If a cashier says "no", grab a store flyer, and you should see the ad match in it somewhere. There are restrictions...in this flyer, they're listed on the bottom of the last page. I think this is the standard location for the AdMatch blurbs).
2. overages...I do not know. Sorry! (I think it may depend on the cashier, sadly, as opposed to a well known store policy). 20+ minute line-ups at the Walmart kill my brain cells, so I only buy there when I can't avoid it.

WM does still price match, at least they did as of last Friday. Note that each store can PM just its own list of competitors. Overage is very much YMMV on a store by store basis, and even cashier by cashier.

Thanks @cyn88canada and @Arjon -- good to know and I will try to grab a flyer next trip. But last year when I was in the US I tried to PM at WM and the cashier said they no longer PM. Glad it's different here.
