Green energy programs cancelled

Thank you Ontario PC party (sarcasm) - Doug Ford has cancelled with almost no notice the green energy program. I was in the process of making my home more energy efficient to lower my bills and make my home comfortable, instead of living through the winter on 64 F, scrapping the ice off my windows and struggling to pay my utilities on a fixed income. I can hardly wait to see what comes next.....oh yes cheap beer is coming......too bad I don't drink.

The program will still be honored until end of September.
“that rebates will be honoured for homeowners who submit an application by Sept. 30 or who have a signed work agreement with a participating contractor for work to be completed by Aug. 31.” CP24

Thanks for posting @rameen . I noticed this on the website but two contractors told me today was the last day to accept quotes. Will look into this further.

Just wanted to add that I am so fortunate that I didn't commit to a 50% deposit on the windows as installation would have been in the fall and I wouldn't have gotten any rebate. I feel sorry for consumers who are in this predicament.
