Garage sale finds!
It’s garage sale season! I only go to community garage sales now, since I have no children living at home and I should be downsizing, but I can’t help myself hahaha! I got some amazing deals, 2 beautiful lamps for my living room ($10 for 2, such a great deal I didn’t even haggle) 2 paintings, 2 gorgeous decorative pillows ( price on each one $29.99) almost new!! Another lamp, books, necklace, candles etc. Then I saw 2 small boys selling lemonade and Rice Krispy squares, no one was buying anything, so I got a lemonade and a square and gave them $5.00, one little boy was going to get the change and I said they can keep it, just the expression on their faces made my day!! Until next weekend!! I’ll keep you posted!!

nice RAOK giving them $5
wtg
last summer some kids had a lemonade stand, with parent supervising
they wanted $1
gave them $2 but told them to keep the lemonade
they were confused and told me I had to to take a glass of lemonade:-)
left them with their father explaining to them what a charitable donation is all about
(great location BTW, right near a Durham Region transit bus stop)

nice!! we did that last weekend....2 little girls with their stand set up in front of their house.....I read somewhere and I've always held that belief...always stop at a kids' lemonade sale and buy a glass!!" we did, and my hubby reached into the console of our vehicle and pulled out a big handful of loonies, quarters, dimes and nickels....it almost filled their cup!! but the look on their faces and hearing them say thanks was more than worth it!
