Lots of Stoney Creek Dairy memorabilia will be in the new ice cream bar. The place will be open 11am to 4pm this weekend for the grand opening featuring ice cream from a Peterborough dairy. Yes, you can get a free cone!

The dairy is on the 58-Stoney Creek Local bus route too. Not sure how much visitor or customer parking is available at the location.
Oh that's exciting I miss the Stoney Creek Dairy it will be nice to see some nostalgia and have somewhere to go for a come again

OK, so the ice cream shop is closed for the rest of the year. If you missed the ice cream, count on Victoria Day weekend in late May 2019 for opening weekend!

@Anna Michele -at least you went to the place this summer! Kept forgetting to make a visit there when riding the 44-Rymal bus to Eastgate Square! Have to plan a visit next year.

The retirement community built on the site of the former Stoney Creek Dairy at 135 King St. E. is celebrating the reopening of its ice cream parlour inspired by the dairy on May 25.
The public will get a chance to enjoy 50 per cent off cones and sundaes from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in honour of the second season. Young and old alike also will have the opportunity to listen to live entertainment, try their hands at a raffle and take in a number of mementos from the historic dairy until 7 p.m.
