Is it crazy that finding empty beer bottles excite me now. I really should carry a bag on my walks because my neighbors must wonder what's up when I wander through with just 1 empty bottle.
I used the last of my 4.00 off herbal essences coupons DH had and offers for herbal essences on his PCO card and an offer for 7500 points for spending 35.00. I rarely find such high value coupons so was excited to get to us them for such a deal.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

We went to the library this morning for my kids to play. I put up new Daycare posters. I borrowed 4 DVD movies for our kids. Entered a good local contest at the community information centre, which relocated this year.

I am leaving early tomorrow morning with all of our children. This will be my first road trip with them by myself. We are going to Regina for all of the children to see a specialist. I’ve filled out the necessary paperwork. It is in the pocket of the diaper bag, which is already in the van. The kids and I packed a picnic to eat for lunch, plus breakfast and snacks for the road trip. I plan on buying one meal at a Viet Thai place, which we can share. I bought something there in January and I had leftovers from the meal. Depending on the weather, we’re prepared to have a picnic in the van. I’ll use a fuel discount coupon and fill up at a Shell station. I also need to go to Sport Chek to buy shoes for myself. I wore the other new shoes in my house, and returned them because they hurt my feet in an area that was not going to stretch out. We should be home before supper.

Tonight’s supper was pizza with fresh fruit (red grapes, cherries, nectarines)
Tomorrow's supper plan is spagitinni and meat sauce. I think it is an easy and healthy option after a long day out with our kids.

Morning! My last day of work for the week! Lunch is a salad made from home. Sold my hutch last night. Will put the difference/ extra money from selling and buying new table/hutch aside for other house furniture/decor.
I have $250 in loonies in a a bag in my glove compartment of my car for the 2018/2019 hockey season. ( to cover gate fees and treats at the arena for DS after his games) i am so happy to have that $ money ready so soon.
Now i will pick something else to save change for.

@lilo0003 you can keep the heat in your town....lol. @coupon girl have you tried exercising in a pool? I find it helps.

Trying hard to stay on track, posts about deals are so tempting, will have to limit what I read on this site. Glad to turn off the a/c last night and just run the portable fans. Nice breeze is coming from the lake, have decided to leave my Canada flag up over the front door for the whole month of July. So glad to live in Canada.

Angela - do you ahve a scene card.. Last year I was able to buy stuff there with my scene card.

My vacume is on sale at amazon for 179 for a shark.. I had 120 saved via amazon money.. I think my current vacume knew.. and pretty much sounds like a jet engine taking off.. then yea.. ... I bit the bullet and bought the new vacume. it will be here next week.
between 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 rabbit.. 5 daycare kids... and a family of 5 .. we need a working vacume. I did purchase it via sb so I get the points...lol.

I binge watche d 3 episodes of white collar yesterday. and folded allthe socks. yes there was that many .I really hate folding socks. I moved all the kids socks to thier rooms. and am donating the rest. they are all respinsible for their own laundry.. they can be responsible for thier socks as well. I really dislike folding socks.

I was able to get out for about 3 hours today and work outside. I got alotdone... but still so much more to do .

thanks barbis9-yes I was gonna go to a local pool last night when it was a free swim but my daughter-in-law had her avon lady come between 7 & 8(as she doesn't deliver to their city)and I offered -I may get a seniors swim pass for the exercise class 7.80 a month 55 and up -but I am not a swimmer and I would like it done in the smaller part of the pool we will see -but we also have a smaller pool that's really heated and I find some adults just stand along the sides of it as it would be wonderfull for arthris

Good afternoon! I'm trying to make some progress reading the Metabolism Revolution book and another e-book-both are due in a few days-in the online browser.

Checked the cost of a monthly bus pass-adults can look forward to $101.20 for a one month pass to use on the HSR. Hmm, got to wait for a lottery win or random flapping $100 find. This month or next would be great for having a bus pass to travel where the HSR buses go and for changes of scenery in Hamilton.

Those of you who play Lotto 6-49 on Wednesdays know about the Super Draws promotion going on for a few weeks?
If you play Poker Lotto, don't throw out your non-winning ticket! Enter it online for the weekly draw contests and earn entries and or convert entries to spins and try for an instant win prize. I have one ticket entered for this week's draw.

If you love the Honda Indy, today is the last day to enter their ticket contest on their social media channels for tickets to the Toronto event. https://lottery.olg.ca/en-ca/promotions

I finally cooked my diced red potatoes yesterday-three of them filled the litre size pot with some salt and dried rosemary for a breakfast potato mash (added 1/3 cup of coconut almond milk-it worked). The last two smaller potatoes were a late night supper #2 (felt hungry again) cooked with salt only and I added some Bick's relish for a little flavour to my bowl. The second bunch of celery was starting to turn brown so I salvaged the useful stalks, washed then chopped them for the fridge.

My grocery special wish list was compiled last night and I can keep wishing about going all over Hamilton to nab deals here, there and everywhere. I'll spend the HST credit tomorrow on the jacket (wait and see if it's there tomorrow-if it's not, then I quest for another garment), a needed personal care item, then groceries (had to pitch the peanut butter as its date was mid-June and fortunately mostly consumed, so no big loss) for some staples and fruit---all in town. Have to clip my coupons to my list and add the calculator with them to a small snack bag so I can keep a tally to the cent of how much money is left after each stop.

The handy tote bag I use for lugging my water bottle, library items and accessories is looking like a contender for fabric most likely to be used to make a summer hat. I love the striped fabric but don't know how cool it will be to wear. Need to make the project begin and get done, then work on finding a new bag (there was a book bag project started...)

Speaking of bags, I highly recommend the LCBO's $1.49 little plastic bag with 6 bottle sections and middle section (in dark blue, unless you want a neon colour or the red version with deck chair or moose print) for can walks. The bag is hand wash friendly for those times it needs the dirt or whatever washed out and a little bleach in the final rinse works too--then air dry on the line outside.

Have to add a jug of bleach to my grocery list. The current jug is almost empty!

Hamilton's Supie Program has been cancelled during this heat wave at splash pads. The City of Hamilton offers free swims too as a way to help residents cool down.
During an Extended Heat Warning, the following places are open for residents to cool off. Check what hours they are open before you go.Regularly scheduled public, family, adult and senior swims are free of charge at City of Hamilton indoor and outdoor pools.
Pool capacity limits are in effect during a Heat Event. We may use swim rotations, depending on line-ups at each pool (i.e., people can swim for one hour only, and the next group of people can swim for one hour).

Yesterday at party city I got two tshirts one for myself and one for a friend. but my friend told me in not a nice way where to go stick myself so I yelled back at them to come out of their apartment to come and say that to my face..lol. anyways I bought both tshirts for $2 each regular price is 12.99$, zebra print napkins for $2 regular price for $5.39 and a card for $1.

I received my order from Amazon.ca yesterday that I ordered on last Wednesday.

I also the katimavik house in Quebec City needed some items so I sent them via amazon.ca and theirs arrived yesterday as well. Next pay day I am going to send them some more items I asked for a list this time and to tell me 3 days before payday instead of on payday which I had almost sent them something that at the last minute they had changed their mind.

I am waiting on some items I had ordered off of kids club for Chapmans on the 18th of June. Usually they are pretty much on the ball with sending stuff within 2 weeks.

@Giseledta Sport Chek changed their program last year, now you can earn Canadian Tire money. I struck out at Sport Chek, kept being told they don’t have those shoes in my size. I went to Mark’s work warehouse and got a good deal on 2 pairs of shoes. $77 for one pair, second pair for the exact same price were FREE.

We had had a long day, but not as expensive as I had feared. Our children all saw a dentist that specializes in lip and tongue ties. We only recently found out that our son has a prominent upper lip tie and a small tongue tie. Found out today that twin girl is just like him. Twin boy has a minor one. Both dentists say to wait until both front adult teeth are in. Today’s dentist said that 2/3 of lip ties, like our children have, will spontaneously correct themselves after both front adult teeth are in. If there is still a problem and spacing between the two front adult teeth, then we can get it fixed.
