The recent MyStarbucksWeekend booklet in the Summer 2018 Food and Drink issue had 4 cool coffee drinks or treats (there's an oat banana smoothie and a coffee frozen pop treat too).

I'll have to get my booklet to post the other recipes tomorrow because we have coffee lovers on the Smart Canucks forum who probably want cool versions of their beverage for summertime!

Coffee Margarita (2nd of 4 recipes from booklet)-Makes 2 margaritas
4oz Starbucks Pike Place Roast K-Cup pod, chilled
1 oz triple sec
1 oz. agave syrup
3 oz. reposado tequila
orange wedge, for rim of glass
cinnamon sugar, for rim of glass
orange peel, for garnish
Directions:
Prepare margarita glasses by running orange wedge around the rim of the glass and dipping in cinnamon sugar. In a cocktail shaker, place triple sec, agave syrup, chilled coffee, and tequila. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
Pour into prepared glasses and garnish with orange zest. Enjoy immediately--hello late night!
Cold Brew Banana Oat Smoothie-makes 2 smoothies (3rd of 4 recipes)
8 oz. prepared Starbucks Cold Brew (step 1-grind coffee (coarsely ground and place into the steeper. step 2-Steep grounds by pouring cold water and allowing coffee to brew for 12-24 hours (room temperature or in refrigerator). step 3-Remove steeper and enjoy Cold Brew on tap!)
1/2 cup granola
1 tbsp. chia seeds (optional)
1/4 cup toasted almonds
3 ripe bananas, peeled and frozen
1/4 cup almond butter
4 oz. almond milk
1/2 cup coconut yogurt
2 tbsp. coconut flakes, unsweetened
2 tbsp. cacao nibs
1/2 cup ice
toasted coconut flakes, for garnish

Coffee recommendation: Starbucks Breakfast Blend
Directions:
Place granola, chia seeds (if using) and toasted almonds in blender, and blend on high until finely chopped. Add remaining ingredients and blend on high until smooth. Pour into pint glasses and serve cold. Garnish with coconut flakes and cacao nibs. Good morning!
Caramel Coffee Popsicles-Makes 10 popsicles (4th recipe)
1-3/4 cups prepared Starbucks Cold Brew (see above recipe for instructions on how to make cold brew)
1/3 cup caramel sauce
5-1/2 oz. sweetened condensed milk
1 vanilla been, scraped (or 1 tbsp. vanilla extract)
2 tbsp. coffee liqueur (optional)
Coffee recommendation: Starbucks Breakfast Blend
Directions:
In a large bowl, whisk together caramel sauce, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla until smooth. Pour in 8 oz. of cold brew and flavour with coffee liqueur (if using).
Then, pour half of the remaining cold brew (3 oz.) int bottom of popsicle molds. Freeze for 30-45 minutes until it's icy and firm to the touch. Place popsicle sticks in the middle and divide caramel mixture evenly amongst molds. Freeze again for an hour or two, until firm.
Top with remaining cold brew (3 oz.) and freeze overnight.
To unmold, let popsicles sit at room temperature for 5 minutes until thawed slightly. Remove from mold and enjoy immediately!2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
