I had seen and heard quite a few mentions about Halo Top but haven't tried it yet, so I'm looking forward to doing so for less than $1. For those who have tried it, how is it? How does it compare to brands like Haagen Daz or Ben and Jerry's? And how much would you pay for it with no coupons, without redeeming, and with no points or other rewards attached? Fwiw, my occasional treat price on HD and B&J is max. $5.

Well, no coupon for me. Got it in time, but told my laptop was a mobile device, so emailed to myself. Switched to my PC and then no printout--security--took security off and told already reached my print limit. Smartsource coupons can be a challenge. I just wanted to try some ice cream, oh well.

My C51 offer is specific to the NON DAIRY variety, I purchased DAIRY varieties, only 6 grams of sugar which is excellent.

Although my C51 HALO TOP is for the NON DAIRY variety, I uploaded my receipt for the DAIRY variety and it was approved. Free $5 from C51....

How are you guys liking the ice cream?

I tried the Cookies & Cream flavour. Really, really don't like it. It tastes nothing like cookies & cream, not even like vanilla, no cookies. It's so sweet it tastes like mango, very runny. Yuck! for me. But I'm glad I tried it, so now I know I'll never buy it.
Actually Ben & Jerry's make a similar low calorie ice cream that even looks like Halo Top(packaging), I'm sure it tastes better too.

Did you guys have to pay tax? I think my store scammed me! never going back there again.

I was surprised tax is charged on ice cream. The coupon stated the consumer is responsible for the tax, but some cashiers just included the value of the tax in the coupon redemption.

If you purchased DAIRY HALO varieties like me, upload your receipt to C51 HALO TOP NON DAIRY. C51 just approved my receipt even though it was a different product line of HALO.

Tax is often charged on these freebie coupons. Kinda silly and the cashiers always seem embarrassed by the pettiness. I like the Birthday Cake flavour but the others I've tried are somewhat lacking in any excitement (Cookies and Cream, Oatmeal Cookie, Candy Bar...)- maybe they can't put more "excitement" into it because of the calorie limitations they are touting.
