Free glasses annually for kids 4-10 - Loblaw Optical -YMMV

It’s been a while since I’ve seen this deal posted and it may be a seasonal (back to school) promotion, but, for the 2nd year in a row, I’ve gotten free glasses for my kid at Loblaw Optical. Kids are eligible once every 365 days as long as they’re between 4 and 10 years old, and there were tons of the eligible $49 frames (you pay the difference above $49) to choose from. I paid $59 total for all of the lens coatings and a 2 year warranty, but everything else was free- you could choose to go without the extra coatings as well. Its definitely worth looking into- I didn’t see any advertising for it in the store but when i showed the promotion on my phone the helpful Optician reiterated all the details.

The prescription must’ve been done within the last 3 months.
