Received the offer, despite the fact that I never buy turkey.

It's posted on the website, so this is definitely not a personalized offer...

Generally, the flash sales have appeared banner specific. Because offer is not part of your personalized offers I don't believe it will combine with the nofrills offer. The nofrills offer doesn't look like it includes butterball either.

Wow I just checked Loblaws site for how a pc butter infused turkey is and they say 3.49 a lb and the butterball the same.
Even with the points I do not believe I have ever paid that much for a turkey. We normally buy the cheaper end ones because we always use spice rub and inject them. The we use the deep fryer and/or our big easy to cook them on xmas and thanksgiving

I went to the store the way home from work today and they have freezers full presumably for tomorrow; they were NOT $3.49/lb and looked like they were fixed pricing. I didn't catch the exact pricing as they we still working but it looked like 5kg = $12 etc.
Looking at threads from last year it seemed the same and appeared to be a great deal then. I'll go back tomorrow.

Freshco has butterballs right now for 1.44 lb.. not a bad price if you can price match and have storage.. You could buy for Christmas & thanksgiving

so, the $44.00 birds are all marked the same but do vary in the weight from 19.8 lbs - 24.2 lb and the cost per pound is $1.83 before the points.
The $15.00 earned in points makes the price drop to approx $1.20 per pound, but that would be on the biggest birds, the 11 kg ones.
If anyone buys one make sure you get the 11 kg size, not the 9 kg because then you are actually paying closer to $1.46 a pound for it.Last edited by walkonby; Tue, Sep 25th, 2018 at 12:58 PM.
