Free Mittens Promotion Terms & Conditions

Definitions: The following terms have the following meanings:
"Free Mittens"means the following "Reward" option:

One (1) pair of mittens from the three (3) design selections and two (2) sizes listed on the website located atgeneralmillscanadapromotions.ca/freemittens(the"Website"), subject to availability.

This offer is printed on specially marked packages of the following ready to eat cereals:

Cheerios[emoji769] 570g, Honey Nut Cheerios[emoji769] 725g, Multi-Grain Cheerios[emoji769] 585g, Lucky Charms[emoji769] 526g, Cinnamon Toast Crunch[emoji769] 591g.

"PIN Code"consists of the fourteen (14) characters printed inside specially marked packages of General Mills Canada Corporation. ("General Mills") ready-to-eat cereals listed above.
Each Code shall consist of non-case sensitive letters and numbers and shall follow this format: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX


The offer described above begins on October 1, 2018, and is available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST or until January 31st, 2019, whichever comes first.


Printed inside specially marked packages of ready-to-eat cereals, will be one (1)"PIN Code".You must complete the on-line registration form, agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and provide thePIN Codeyou have obtained from the specially marked package of ready-to-eat cereal you purchased in order to obtain the Reward described above.

You are limited to one (1) Reward for each Code you submit. Maximum four (4) pairs of mittens per household.PIN code cannot be redeemed more than once.


Up to a maximum 75,000 pairs of mittens available. Mitten styles may vary and are subject to availability. General Mills reserves the right to substitute styles and sizes if necessary. Mittens may not be exactly as shown. Mittens may not be returned, refunded or exchanged.


You must complete the online registration form and redeem your "PIN Code" no later than January 31st, 2019. General Mills will not be responsible for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected requests, any failure of the Website at any time, including on or before January 31st, 2019, or for any problems or technical malfunction of a telephone or broadcast network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail, on-line, or Internet request to be received by General Mills or their third party service providers on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, or any combination thereof that may affect an individual’s ability to submit a request, or for any injury or damage to any person or to a consumer’s or any other person’s computer or property related to or resulting from downloading any material in connection with this promotion. You may wish to print a copy of your completed order confirmation and keep it for your records.


Offer is only available in Canada to Canadian residents and for valid Canadian shipping addresses only. Age restrictions may apply. If you are under the age of 13, your parent or guardian’s consent must be obtained before you redeem your reward.


General Mills and the offer fulfillment agency (collectively the "Promotion Partners") accept no liability or responsibility, financial or otherwise, for loss, theft, or misuse of PIN Codes or socks, and are not liable or responsible for any damage, inconvenience, expense, personal loss, property loss, injury, accident, death, illness or liability of any nature relating to the use by the consumer and are not responsible for any disagreement concerning quality or availability of featured socks. The consumer acknowledges and agrees that by using a PIN Code to redeem for a “Free Mittens” he or she acknowledges and agrees with the Promotion Partner’s limitation of liability as set forth in this paragraph. Lost PIN Codes will not be replaced.


General Mills reserves the right to verify the validity of all redemptions and disqualify any claimant for tampering with the Website, the redemption process or any part of the Free Mittens offer. General Mills reserves the right to suspend or terminate this promotion in the event that any redemption attempt is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or that the level of redemptions indicates that improper or fraudulent redemptions are being attempted. Illegible, incomplete or improperly completed redemptions will not be accepted or acknowledged.


The mittens will be mailed to the address provided on the registration form, provided such address is a valid address recognized by a local post office. Requests not in compliance with all terms of this promotion will not be acknowledged or returned.Promotion Partners are not responsible for any lost, stolen, misdirected, or damaged shipments.


Reproduction, purchase, sale or trade of PIN Codes is prohibited. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.


Value and nature of the Reward provided may vary depending on the selection of socks. Reward has no cash value.
