Has anyone else noticed the subtle detail during the reading of votes at Tribal?
Probst's line usually goes something like this:

If anyone has a hidden Immunity Idol and you'd like to play it, now would be the time to do so. *pause* Once the votes are read, the decision is final, the person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately...I'll read the vote(s)

This season, he's drop the line noted in bold.
As far as I can remember, I don't think Probst ever makes note about Extinction Island to the Survivors.
I wonder if any one of them ever caught onto this during the begin days of the season while they were playing?

So for next week...


We now have three people on Extinction Island, and next week there's a split into three Tribes...
My thought is that they are going to split into three tribes and bring back one "extinct player" to each new tribe
These returning players are all out for blood since they were each back stabbed!

The area where Probst announces the split, doesn't look like a Reward or Immunity Challenge site. My guess is that it was just that, an announcement and split site....and under the blanket and table beside Probst, is a flint for the New tribe who has to build their new camp.

Reward Challenge: I'm thinking it will be a double style reward challenge run with three tribes. Winner gets a big reward, second gets a smaller reward, loser gets nothing.

Immunity Challenge and Tribal.
Since there technically hasn't been any officially voted off Survivors, and to keep with the games timeline, I'm predicting one of two scenarios.

1. Full triple tribal council where each tribe must vote out a Survivor with no option for Extinction...but this would only remove three survivors...still not with the timeline.

OR

2. Immunity Challenge, run with three tribes, but only one Immunity Idol. Losing tribes go to Tribal Council, and vote out two Survivors each. This would bring the game timeline back on track.

This season I decided to try and save watching episodes so that I can binge a couple at a time but I dont think I can do it! I am too invested not to watch this Wednesday

Just from the preview for next week, I'm thinking there may be some mini challenge that showed up for the inhabitants at the Edge of Extinction...maybe a second chance for one person or a small number of them to return to the game.

Before I saw the preview, the craziest idea popped into my head, but the more I think about it, the idea wouldn't make much sense for the game (of ratings)...The thought was: what if all the inhabitants of the Edge of Extinction (EoE) were to come back into the game as one tribe. They would arrive at the Immunity Challenge, and would run the Challenge against the other three tribes (5/5/4/4).

First two tribes safe from elimination.
Third tribe goes to Tribal Council.
Losing tribe, eliminated indefinitely (no EoE)...this is where the thought ran off the rails...this part doesn't make sense for the way the season's be played, or for ratings...
OR maybe, this losing tribe just all go to the EoE right away.

Crazy thoughts...crazy thoughts!

Dan, the idea you have in your spoiler above is what my hubby and daughter keep saying too so not that out there if other people are thinking it too

I am wondering if any one will raise the white sail though because they have made mention of it a couple of times now and it seems redundant to include that in the edit unless it will play in somehow later on.


I am reluctantly liking the Edge of Extinction idea more and more because of how much it has me thinking and anticipating what will happen next.

Returning "Tribe" from EofE...? and a merge...COME ON!

So here are my thoughts...
There's gotta be some multi-survivor vote outs coming up soon...there's too many people left!
This is going to get exciting...FAST!

There are 6 obstacle courses shown.
I don't think this is the Immunity Challenge course. With ALL survivors still in the game (with the EofE Castaways returning) I think they'll do a school yard draw for teams of three to compete in a reward Challenge. It would be pretty nice to see if they allowed the EofE Returnees be the Captains for the 6 team School Yard Draw.

Going back to the number of Survivors still in the game...I wonder if they are stringing the EofE crew along...what if they're just returning for the reward challenge...and they are immediately sent back to the EofE? It was a first for Survivor to have them all returning...why can't they also be cast back out? What if this season ends up with a Jury of 15 people instead of usual 10?
If this happened, it would give the first 5 people voted out a say towards the winner...
Normally, Wendy would have been our first Jury member (I wonder if any of the remaining Survivors thought about/brought up the thought when they all decided to vote her out...)
