Well today was an interesting Boxing Day. Not to too many really great deals out there - there were a few but you really had to look for them - its no wonder that Black Friday has now surpasses Boxing Day in Canada as the better shopping day. However because of that, I found less people in the malls and parking lots and that just made for a much more pleasant day all around! I mean we stopped at Best Buy about 2 hours after opening - still had the "door crasher" deal we were looking for and we walked right up to the check out - NO LINE. Also scored some great deals on chocolate - lowest price I've ever seen so needless to say we will be WELL stocked for quite a while!

    Anyone else score great deals?

I couldn't shop stores with doors, but did some online.

    Mark's - fluffy robe - regular 55, on sale just over 39, 30% off = 27.48
    - nightgown - regular 35, on sale 25, 30% off = 17.49

(So why the heck didn't they just say half regular price???)

    Free shipping
    With tax, total $49.92

Sucks to be bedridden, but I want to at least look/feel decent!

Walmart - half price gift sets - lotions, potions, etc.; a few gift baskets, one pkg chocolates

I was sick and couldn't go shopping either. Tried to order some half off gift sets from WM and apparently they treated it as grocery item now and can only be deliver or pick up. I didn't buy any as it defeat the purpose of saving $10 and have to pay $10 for delivery.

We were in the market for a new laptop as we are still just barely functioning on Vista but there weren't any really good deals so we'll hold off until absolutely necessary but we're getting close to that point.

Canada Computers had a sale last month. It was posted on that other savings site. DH went and picked one up for me for $200.
