Anybody know if it automatically asks on turbo tax

Yes it automatically asks on Turbo Tax. By default that refund shows up.

But you have to choose if you live in an Urban area or rural area by ticking a box. For rural area it is 10 % more. Besides that manual tick mark the rest will show up automatically .

I'll have to check my CRA account tomorrow. I had mailed my paper return on Feb.1 so there might be a status listed already.

Manual mailed in return usually takes 4 weeks to process.

Even if you mailed on Feb 1, they don't start processing the return until after February 15.

Those 3-4 weeks will start from Feb 15, eve though your mailed return reached them much earlier.

I filed last night and my date is March 7th. I’m going to get a small refund because all of last year I was on ei and welfare. Still nice to get a little something.

February 23 (Saturday) - Netfiled.

March 4 (Monday) - Refund will be Directly Deposited.

My refund was deposited today - March 1 (Friday) , even though online it says March 4 (Monday), which is weird, but good 👍.

Last year there were lot of glitches. This year seems to be smooth

On March 6, My Account showed that the Notice of Assessment (NOA) date was March 7. I checked again on March 7 and my climate change tax credit was applied to the Ontario Opportunities Fund as I had requested. The paper copy of the NOA should show up today or tomorrow in the mail (usually 5 business days after the online notice).

That time of the year is approaching fast. By mid February - Online CRA netfile should open. By last week of January all the tax forms & booklets should arrive in various Canada Post outlets (usually in SDM ), Libraries, Service Canada outlets etc. I think they even mail it to people if you filed your last return by paper.
