My CT scan is booked for tomorrow for 9:15am I have to drink 2 cups of water 30mins before my appointment. And be there for check in at 9am. My mom yesterday rear ended someone and told me when I called that she would not be driving me. My sister is taking me to the hospital she told me she is picking me up at 8:40am in a text. I am scared less...but then again I have no clue what to expect. Hopefully something gets resolved I am still in lots of pain I spaced out the morphine and will have enough for possibly tomorrow as well. Depends if I want to take or not I’ll see how I feel.

The snow melted in town but I gather there is still snow on the ground where my mom lives on the other side of town in the boonies area. Its frigid cold outside like -13C in town. considering it went from 7 to -11 in 12hours the from Saturday to Sunday.

I am saving lots of money by not shopping and being sick and terrible amounts of pain. I feel I have the worst luck.

I was not aware of it. I have trouble finding Driscoll’s berries on sale in town, but I still carry their coupons in my purse in case I find a deal.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Oh what a few days. My Sunday turned out nothing I had planned. My plan was to do Laundry, maybe a little tidying up and pre cook some items for this week. Well Mom got a call from work as she is last fully trained staff member left in her department and she needed to go to work. Initially she told me she would be at work 10 minutes tops and asked me if I wanted to go and we could go to the store on the way home to get groceries for the week. Then before we left the hour it became an hour tops. Well we were actually there about 3 1/2 hours, by the time we left it was mid afternoon. The my plan was to just go to No Frills get the shopping done and come home but then we decided to stop at Wal-Mart (I need vitamins) and we decided to go to Food Basics as price matching fruit and vegetables can be hit and miss at No Frills. Needless to say we did not get home until almost 6 pm and laundry still needed to be done so I was not in bed until about 11 pm and then did not sleep.

Groceries this week was mostly fruit and vegetables, we are pretty well stocked up on meat and then we needed Yogurt as well. I might have to go to the store later in the week just to get Milk & Mushrooms. We got:
    2 x Cauliflower
    1 x Pineapple
    5 x Apples
    1 x Clementines (3 lb box)
    3 x 2 Pack Romaine
    4 x Oranges
    4 x Yogurt
    3 x Salsa
    2 x Plum Sauce
    1 x 3 lb Lemon
    1 x Napa Cabbage

All and all a pretty good shop. But now I must admit as the week is going on and it is only Tuesday I am already feeling the pinch of not getting any prep done on the weekend. Not sure how late I will need to work tonight and although we have a ton of food I am not sure what I will make for dinner as more than likely I will need something quick. Since my stomach is acting up again I am trying to not eat too late as that might be contributing to the issues I am having but when I work late it is normal for us to not eat until 7 or 7:30. My issue is I go to bed between 8 and 9 so this might be why I keep waking up in pain during the night.

I have found some natural remedies online to hopefully help my stomach as it seems to be getting worse vs better and have decided if I do not see improvement by next week I will bring it up when I see the doctor next week for another issue. More than anything I need to find a way to start sleeping through the night and now wake up with stomach/back pain in the middle of night every night. Although I must admit trying to do some research yesterday was very frustrated as every article I read said to make sure you are getting 8 to 10 hours of sleep a night and to eliminate all stress in your life. If only it were that easy, twice last week I was in bed before 8 pm and both nights I was up for long periods during the night and was lucky to be getting 5 hours of broken sleep in a night. This is not my choice and I have tried taking something to help me sleep but so far nothing is helping. As for stress the not feeling well and not sleeping but still needing to be a functioning human being during the day is a little stressful especially since I have a new trainee starting today/tomorrow so I have to be in the office and a high functioning human being.

But the good news is so far today I am feeling a bit better, I just have to be careful that once I start working with the trainee that I keep up with my new routine. I am drinking a lot of Warm Lemon Water and taking various natural supplements (Coconut Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, Probiotics & I also bought Milk Thistle but have not worked that into my schedule yet). As well I am trying to eat 5 to 6 smaller meals in the day. All of this is easy to do when I am just working away in my office but a bit harder when your trying to train someone and not working a normal schedule.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day, off to make my first cup of Warm Lemon water and try not to get stressed out as I fill out my employee evaluation (I really dislike review time).

We have the same weather forecast. It just started snowing now too. My windshield wipers were frozen this morning but once I broke the ice from them they were fine. Missing not parking in the garage this year for sure! Can't wait till Spring and clean it out completely!

Well oldest DS finished off the 2nd tray of homemade mac and cheese last night. Wow. It sure did not last long.

Dinner tonight. Use up the roast and chicken breasts that are cooked and ready in the fridge. Have green beans in the freezer. Maybe I should make up perogies to use up sour cream that my sister gave me and is expired but sealed since it should be ok still and then I can save the one I bought last night at GT for down the road. Think I will see what bits of this and that I can cook up from the freezer on fridge.

Laundry- I have a load of towels in the dryer to put away. I will put on a load tonight to keep at it.

I bought the cutest little cami and boxers from GT last night (sleepwear) Happy I actually tried it on because I would have bought a size too big if I just grabbed what I thought I needed. It's really cute!

Bonus redemption at SDM this weekend. I was planning on saving my points but many items at my good sale price so I am thinking it may be worth redeeming 60,000 pts for $80.

I went to the appointment exhausted and scared. It took all of 20mins. My sister dropped me off with cash to pay for cab home from my mom which I used. The cabbie on the way home was rude he was speaking Punjabi when I got into the car as he was on hands free I can sorta understand what he was referring to. He looked at me smiling overtly basically checked me out and said some words I recognized which I knew he was talking about me.

It was really cold outside when I made it downstairs to being -15C. It says its currently sitting at 2C I don’t know how much of that I do believe though. It clear and sunny and windy. I am in some pain and discomfort I passed out for awhile in my bed to hear another violent altercation in the hallway between the two people most of us on this floor rather not have on it anymore. I think there is alternative ways then get angry at someone whose obviously looking for that kind of attention. But I don’t think this person knows how to deal with any of that or constructively work towards not getting involved anywhere.

I think I am going to try to take some ibuprofen instead of the morphine I have left. I will go back downstairs and see if I have any mail it seems mail keeps being delivered later and later. I was waiting on Amazon pacakage it keeps saying it’s in Richmond but has to do with some sort of travel delay whatever that means it was suppose to be here by tomorrow but it came into Richmond on Monday but there is snow and ice on the ground in some parts of Lower mainland.

Yes, the Fallsview Casino! I was last there perhaps 5 or 6 years ago when best friend and I did the parkway drive then a little slot machine gaming.
