Rexall and the Expired Flyer Affair

Went shopping at Rexall yesterday to use my $10 gc that had a March 7th expiry date. I picked up 3 bottles of Softsoap then looked for the other things on my list and found they were regular price.
Checked my shopping app and realized that the flyer had expired on Wednesday this week.
Annoyed, I approached the manager and voiced my irritation on the practice of arbitrarily changing dates on flyers. I stressed that if it's always Thursday, it shouldn't change.
My backwards brag on this is that he saw my point and gave me the Softsoap at last week's sale price of $3.49 each!!
Sometimes it pays (or saves!!) to complain.

Same with Shoppers it's irritating when sales are over on Thursday instead of the usual Friday.
