Completed my 95 CASH Air Miles redemption at Metro today. I asked cashier to input both PLUs in this sequence:
PLU 83929
PLU 82228


The cashier's screen showed the transactions in this sequence
BONUS OFFER 50 Air Miles (when 83929 was entered)
BONUS OFFER -50 Air Miles (when 82228 was entered)
BONUS OFFER 25 Miles (when 82228 was entered)
BONUS AIR MILES 50 Air Miles (when 82228 was entered)

The receipt detail prints the following:
- BONUS OFFER
- BONUS OFFER 25 Air Miles
- BONUS AIR MILES

The receipt total prints the following:
Bonus Air Miles Earned 25
Bonus Air Miles 50
Total Air Miles Earned 75



Possible conclusions:
- Entry of 82228 after 83929, negated 83929 on the receipt details
- PLU 82228 took precedent over 83929 because it's a lower number, and not because of sequence of entry
- 82228 will be used to qualify for Mega Miles (instead of 83929)
- Bonus Air Miles of 50 is from 93929 because it was on the cashiers screen & Metro flyer promos never display the 50 AM for using CASH AM
- May be rewarded 25+50+50 BAM

During my next three visits, will only use PLU 83929. When Bonus AMs are awarded, will update if I receive 125 or 100 AM or 75 AM.

How do you get personal offers at metro?

Metro Air Miles offer are decent. Here's a recap of offers I received this week:
5 AM Spend $5 or More
6 AM any Irresistibles product
3 AM Broccoli
3 AM Strawberries
3 AM Chocolate, candies or gums (all brands & sizes)
5 AM Bacon (any brands & sizes)
4 AM Eggs (all brands & sizes)

@rockco I also shopped today and even though she entered the plu 83929 my receipt does not show the bonus miles. Bought the Fresh to go Pizza and that bonus miles show 25 now I am confused why it did not show my bonus miles.

Mine didnt show the 25, only 50. I had 5 bonus for Yves veggie products, 5 for spending $5. My bill was $15.96 minus $10/95 points and she put the code in from the air miles website. I got 5 plus 5 plus 50 but should have also got 25, right?

@Miss Molly , I believe you're not missing 25 BAMs since you didn't buy the pizza (using MM coupon) nor put in the older PLU (now removed from website). Your receipt results seem correct.

@flemeth this might mean the Metro mega miles are mutually exclusive, although not stated in the terms. Miss Molly got her 50 BAM with the latest MM coupon, so we know that part works standalone. Try AM Chat to have them assess the situation with your receipt. Let us know outcome.

So did they change the PLU because the bonus air miles when redeeming 95 went from 25 to 50?

A few more "data points" for this Metro Offer from my shop today...

- I talked with customer service before I started shopping and asked; "For the advertised flyer offer for redeeming Air Miles, is there a code associated with that offer?" and I received back a rather rude "Yes there is a code"

- Cashier had the Mega Miles PLU at her checkout till, and I asked her "Is that code associated with the flyer redemption promo", she said "Yes"

- However, during the transactions (Mine + Fathers), I noticed something on the screen that didn't show up on the bill... Two separate line items for Air Miles. The SCPN came up before she type in the PLU, and the other one after the PLU was in the register;

- "SCPN Bonus Air Miles"
- "CPN Bonus Air Miles 50 Air Miles"

I am not sure what it all means in the end, but I will probably put in an inquiry once all is said and done if I don't get the Metro portion from the redeem promo that was advertised before Mega Miles changed. This I think has been one of the messiest offers EVER from Air Miles and I am sure they will get some level of backlash from this...

Also when I go tomorrow I will try what you did @rocko (PLU #82228 & #83929), but at the self-checkout so I can see every line item and confirm everything myself, and take pictures of everything to have proof.

@rockco I did a chat and was told as long ast the PLU was input I would get the miles and if it’s not posted when the other 50 is posted I should chat again after 120 days and it will be honoured just hoping this it true

I did two separate transactions on two different accounts. Each showed the 50 for the PLU 83929 on the bottom of the receipt. @flemeth the cashier might have typed the # incorrectly or wasn’t in the proper area. The 50 should have shown at bottom of receipt.

First time through, I asked cashier to input PLU #, it worked and then she said $12.19, I said, I would like to redeem $10 in CM. Code obviously works even without redeeming.

Side note: Both AM cards have officially completed 5 offers. These bonus promotions can’t be beat!
