Feeling accomplished today! Lots of laundry done and put away as dry. Bathrooms cleaned. Kitchen cleaned. Big pile of clothing at bottom of my closet hung up. Christmas box of gifts tucked away in closet. Box of tampons and pads put in basement lol. All garbage and recycling out to garage.
Groceries done. Went to Food basics and spent$21.75 on 4lbs clementines, 8 pasta sauce, huge bag basmati rice, almonds, salsa. Then grabbed 2 cartons of eggs at SDM. Lots of good meals planned this week. A roast with gravy, mashed potatoes, fresh asparagus for sure one night.
Tonight we are going to casino for free dinner, pick up free gift and use free slot play. Happy we decided on dinner instead of breakfast so i could get things done around the house.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
Kind of caught up on work, I did what I could but a lot of what I needed to do I was not sent all of the details on so I am waiting to hear back and won't get answers till tomorrow.

Not much getting done around the house today, I am feeling super tired. I did laundry yesterday so it is done folded and put away. I was going to do some cooking today but that did not get done. I am home this week so I should be able to make it work without getting my prep done.

I wrote a grocery list this morning, will go over it one more time and compare to our stockpile. Right now most of our grocery shopping consists of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables as that is what I am eating a lot of these days. I just want to make our stockpile does not run low and I do not have to do a large stock up later.

Last week I started buying items I will be able to eat after surgery to make sure we have these foods on hand. I hate leaving things to the last minute so it makes me happy to start stocking up now so I do not have to worry later. Plus so far I have been able to buy everything on sale which if left to the last minute probably would not be possible.

Off to see if I can find some time to relax, maybe catch up on some TV viewing and rest before it is back to work tomorrow. Have a great afternoon everyone.

It freaking warm outside so warm I am wearing a tank top. It says it’s 18C but feels like 23C. All my blinds are closed and I tuck taped my window for the AC pipe. Best idea yet, it works super well compared to cardboard and plastic like the last several years. Maybe I wasn’t so bright then or something.

I waiting on my elements on the stove, they suck today. They should be raging hot by now. I have pasta on the stove...making pasta for lunch. I had fish sticks for breakfast it felt like night to me anyway.

Listening to music through my blu-Ray player. This guy who lost his appeal and didn’t pay rent for 9 months. Loaded up his stuff on someone’s truck but didn’t even ask him if he could do that. I guess that’s an easily way to make friends or be punched out. Anyways he yelled at him in front of staff and told him to take all stuff out and off his truck. So there was some other dude here helping him with his stuff. Unless he sold it because he didn’t pay his rent. Which is always possible.

Anyways I spent some money on getting Oreos, chips and twizzlers yesterday at shoppers drug mart.

Tonight we are taking the 3 teens out for Indian food. It seems DH will be needing a new hip at some point in the future so I think I better go to his doctor apt this week to get a better idea as to when-since I will need to take care of him afterwards. I don't want to book any travel etc until I have some idea when my nursing duties may be required.

I had such a fun weekend ,this morning my son/wife came over with cara and aslyn to play with cousin Sebastian (he was so happy to see them ) we took them outside in our backyard for a bit then daughter left at 11.00 to pick up her hubby and head to Toronto and son left also

I then went over to shoppers as I needed Tylenol which I got for a really good price with a coupon and a few other items ,treated myself to a bag of eggies at bulk barn for 1.24 as they were reduced (I shared with hubby) hung a load out and for supper had bbq burgers ,fingerlings and corn

giselta maybe you have what I had for the 3 days tue to Thursday ,fever ,weak and sore throat but I knocked the sore throat of of me gargling a ton with salt water

Morning! Beautiful day today wow! Bring on summer weather. Have my lunch and a busy day so will work through it so I can leave early and get out there. Will take the dog for a run and tire her out.

Dinner last night was nice. We didn't get there till 8:15 and it wasn't busy or rushed. We were starving. Had only eggs and toast for breakfast. We ordered ceaser salad and bruschetta bread right away. Both were really really good (or we were really really hungry ) He had full rack of ribs with fries. I had Pad Thai. Only had a bit and have leftovers for my lunch today. We split an oreo cheesecake that was really good. Total was $82 but free with comps. Also redeemed comps for free drinks to bring home to the fridge and 2 green apples My free gift was a camping chair.

I took out BSCB this morning and will whip up dinner. Some I will cook up for tomorrow night to make youngest DS pasta he likes. Then it will be ready for him to just heat and eat.

Really concentrating on healthy eating this week. I brought a boiled egg and yogurt for my afternoon snack. I bought almonds and packaged in ready to grab baggies.
I have fish in the freezer that needs to be used up so will plan to bbq that one night this week with a bunch of other stuff to have ready for quick meals. Cleaning out the kitchen freezer is the plan this week!

    Have a fantastic day everyone!

Last Wednesday we had the solar power inspection. The bi-directional meter was installed on Friday. We had a friend give them access to the property. Dh andI were both at work and the installation was arranged at the last minute. Anyway, that guy forgot to flip the breakers and a switch in order to make our solar panels go live. We finally got that sorted out yesterday. There is an app that shows us how much power is produced. It’s very cool! We can see how much each panel produces, or the total of the system, per day, month, year, or system (multiple years), how much CO2, trees, or gallons of gas we have saved. It’s all quite exciting!

Wonderful sunny weather here in Ancaster but I know the rain will rock and roll soon (forecaster said in the pm)! Closest feeling of summer weather in a couple of weeks. Not wanting grass to grow too quickly except in the thin areas that I seeded last August.

Tea and I are evening buddies every night. Find having a cup or two really soothing before I turn to some reading before lights out.

I was asked to compile a grocery list on Saturday-got it done within 10min of looking at two main store flyers. Others bought groceries and some stuff not on my list came home-ok-but specific things were missing or substituted (not ok). I asked Mom about the missing stuff and she said she did not look at the list....(insert facepalm here).

Actually was able to watch some primetime tv last night (rare occasion).

Have to pop over to Costco as I found someone's card on Friday at the opposite end of town...during my can walk. Have not collected my Food & Drink magazine from LCBO either but it's near the Costco.

Any leads on Pepsi Throwback at big Shoppers stores? Nothing here in the chain grocery stores as of Saturday and I need my sugar fix.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Pretty sure today is going to be a rough day, I had an attack yesterday. Was not really able to eat dinner as I felt horrible, went to bed early and thought the pain was starting to subside as I fell asleep but no, it was back in the middle of night so I was up half the night.

My plan was to grocery shop tonight but highly doubt that will happen now as I am already exhausted and the day has barely started. Might try to talk Mom into doing it tomorrow , if I give her the $$.

Well better try to focus on some work now. Have a great day everyone
