I absolutely love Call The Midwife - I've watched all of season one, and season two finished episode eight.
So the next 'new' one for me will be the Christmas special end of the year - way too long to wait!
Season three will be early 2014.
You really get to love these women - and the situations with which they are dealing go from joy to sorrow, very intense.

I know, I was surprized that she was moving on. But they announced a Christmas special for this year, with season four in 2015.

i am curious on how they will continue it.. they did a good job at wrapping up her storyline with a "this is her future" monologue at the end of the episode, will they still keep her starting and ending each episode in the monologues if she's not part of the cast/story anymore

I was trying to see if I could find this show, since some of you really love it.
Is this show called "Call the Midwife" or "Call of the Midwife"?

agreed!! very teary... same with the first episode.. it was soo sad to see how a mom would just neglect her children to such a degree i wanted to cry for those kids... even more so knowing that these.. many of them... are true stories of what these midwives went through and the stories of the people
