I need to do a massive grocery trip on Saturday but have not had time to look at the flyers. The fridge is bareand the children feel starvation is forthcoming. I took advantage of the sunshine and line dried clothes today. It makes me happy.

lilo-you made me chuckle -kids feel starvation is coming -lol
I skipped grocery shopping this week other than a few fruit and veggies at zarkys
Cutting the front today ,infact I hung a load last night at 6.30 when I got in from babysitting ,normally I would have put in dryer but not with everything going up ,it is now dry and I am hanging a load of towels

may weed the front strip inbetween my day lillies ,lavender plants

May even pop over to winners later as I haven't been there in awhile

I don't care to do the shoppers redemption as I am saving my points for no frills need groceries more than higher end makeup-lol

I may treat hubby and I to swiss chalet on sunday at its there 65th birthday and all 1/4 chicken is 6.50 take out or dine in -yummm I am totally relaxing this weekend no grandkids ,no running around much

Oh and my dear brother is being transferred to St. Peters for rehab ,as in the dye test they found no blockage around his heart

@cath007, reports say the bank knew that an employee had some suspicious activity back in December. Employee sold the information about clients. There may be a class action law suit so you may be able to get some money if Desjardin credit union is found guilty.

I’m at the hospital waiting for my mother to come pick me up. I had what the doctor calls it the stomach bug. But I am not convinced my stomach still hurts. But they made me wait 2 hours only and took my blood I got to listen to a screaming 7 year old as they popped his bone back into place. Then a crying 6 month old who smashed her face off the parents bed into her crib bracket. Then several people wanted to hold my hand do you know how germy that is in a hospital? I already broke out from the tape of where they took my blood.

My moms here...mom to the rescue.

I bought eggs and 2x wild cherry Pepsi’s at shoppers. And made 75pts. They gave me a coupon for 20% off almost anything regular priced merchandise for Tuesday. Problem is I don’t get paid until Wednesday so this coupon is worthless to me. Anyway I am going to take the rest of my meds and see how I fare the rest of the night if I get to sleep or no.

    Good night all

    Good Morning Everyone,
It is a boy, I was a bit worried my niece was going to meltdown if it was a boy as she had decided it was a girl and had made a few comments. We set off the poppers and it was blue and she seemed okay and happy to play in confetti, then her Mom asked if she knew what this meant and she said no. Her Mom said we are having a boy your going to have another brother. She did not melt down but kept telling her Mom she was wrong it was a girl.

Although I do think pretty much their whole household thought it was was girl as after we knew my cousin's wife was like crap we do not have any boy names, all of the names we have discussed are girl names.

I did consider not going because of how I was feeling and the long trip but said no you need to go. It is a good thing we did go, in past week most people had changed to not coming. The morning of my cousin's wife's sister who was coming with her 4 kids had to cancel as 2 of kids woke her up in the middle of night with the flu. There were supposed to be 9 kids and I think 20 adults, in the end the only kids were my cousin's 2 kids and 9 adults. It was just my self, 2 bros, 1 bro fiance, sis, cousin's wife's Mom and step dad, one of their local friends and another friend stopped by but only for the revel as her son was also sick.

Okay, on to today. Not sure what today will hold yet. Mom has a lot of stuff she needs to get done but I am still limited on what I can and cannot do. For sure the garbage needs to go out and laundry needs to be done, both of which I still cannot do. I cannot wit to have no restrictions, I find it so frustrating that I see things that need to be done but have to ask Mom to do it as it is on my cannot do list.

If I do not find anything around the house I can help Mom with that is no on my cannot do list I will probably get some work done. I currently have 2 large projects on the go and a third should be added this week as long as they get the programming up and going this week. So work is something I can accomplish.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

We took the kids to the free bike rodeo for a few hours yesterday. Mr. Mikes supplies burgers, ribs, and chips. Lots of companies donated prizes and other supplies. The police were there to help and teach the kids. We were surprised at the end when the police paid for all the kids to have ice-cream from an ice-cream bus that they brought to the location. Our twins received brand new bike helmets donated from Canadian Tire. We also went home with 3 coupons for a treat from DQ.

it has been 7 days since I stopped eating meat. No improvements yet. I’m on the hunt for some easy but satisfying meat alternatives. I might cave and buy a food processor, since a lot of recipes require one.
