Good morning everyone!!! Should be another hot one day,but with rain, but thanks god for ac!!! I slept yesterday 6 hours because I was exausted.I will take it easy today.I realize I need more organization in my kitchen counters, lots of plastic salad plates, masson jars of empty spaghetti sauce where on the counter forgetten.I need to do some purging and find a place for storage, without clutter up....One step at the time....And not to stock anymore on yogurt even with coupons, because I dont eat them all and I hate waste.2 garbages bags when into the dump.Feel great that the garbages bins are empty.Alright wishing you all an awesome day,I may take a nap.!!!!

Going to be a hot one here today too! Whoa my car said it was 26 already!!!

Have a few rush reports to do this morning but I feel in vacation mode already

Last night on the way home I stopped at Valu mart hoping to get a few packages of the steak on sale to put away in freezer for fahitas. They had none again. They had 2 of the roasts advertised and they were the tiniest things. Fail on Valumart! Bought both roasts- $10.88 total and used the $10 pc pts on my extra card. Sliced one up and cooked in the cast iron pan and made oven fries. Youngest ate when he got home from work. I have to say he looked so handsome in the $3 thrift shirt I bought him OMG! Such a little man! (He's bigger then me lol)

    1 OF 2 Reports done!

Checked my PC MC and payment has been applied for our trip South and house insurance. Now I can call in and pay the car insurance. PC PTS galore....have to look at the bright side

My sandals are in. The store I went to didn't have my size in stock but did at another store so they had them sent to them. It is right beside the casino so will go Saturday and use the $75 free slot play then go pick up my shoes May even have free breakfast while there.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Not good but today totally feels like a Friday to me. Maybe it is because I am playing catch and trying to get as much off my desk as I can. This week has been insane and I feel like I have been going in about 50 directions at all time. So a lot of little stuff has piled up but my goal is to get all of this off my desk by lunch.

Tuesday night after work we went grocery shopping and I was so happy. I was really getting on edge at how low we were on food in the house and that I could not just go and shop. Will be so happy when I can lift again. We mostly bought fruits and veggies, all on sale.

Today I have a doctor's appointment as during my surgery I became hypertensive, so I am trying to keep my blood pressure down but others are not helping. Mom was supposed to be off today but they begged her to work and she agreed to go in, before I even left the house she was complaining and has spent part of the morning texting me with how annoyed she is. She keeps telling me how nice it is to have someone she can vent to (me) and I am trying to be supportive but it really wears on me as I feel like I need to find a way to fix the situation which I cannot do. My only option would be to tell her to her leave her job but even if she is not getting as many hours as we would like it is still some money coming in. She has commented it would be nice to just take the summer off and then start looking for work in the fall but it just is not an option.

Alright well I better get back to work. Have a wonderful day everyone

@SassyAshley --if your Mom gets any HST or OTB payments next month, indicate you expect her to give you what you are owed or at least the payments to count as partial repayment and she still owes you for any balance. As for covering her car repair, tell her to ask your brother, because you cannot afford to cover two vehicles on your own. Since you indicated how essential a car is to get around in your area, if Mom plans on a summer off, she has to sell her car to have cash and to walk/bike/rollerblade or lean on her friends' goodwill for rides. If there are any good car accessories, they get sold separately. Maybe she'll reconsider her summer off plan because "no money, no funny" (as a late family friend used to say) hampers daytrips and eating out plans.

Small victory in terms of a banking issue-today I got an employee to look into why the fee rebate for Mom has been MIA all of this year and I asked to be informed of what caused the rebate to not be applied. Yes, the fine print in banking materials mentions bank can revoke or change rebates but I still want to know. Glad I asked, as Mom would not!

Have laundry line-drying and did a little mowing and edge grass clipping. Yesterday, I took off some of the t-shirt hem (did a slight low-high version so back is a little longer), made a little pocket for one sleeve and stitched the new hem. Yes, t-shirt seems kind of short but it no longer binds around my hips when I walk! Win-win; saving the scraps for future mending or pocket making.

Went through the flyers last night and added specials to the grocery list. Sibling looked at the list last night, but did not go shopping. Hoping today is the day he shops.

Found a dime last night and 4 beer containers plus a corporate fuel card in addition to the bank card.

Longos has switched to Wednesday starts for their biweekly flyers as of yesterday! Thank You Reward members can earn 5X TYR points wus $75 or more in one transaction this week.

I picked up the Summer Food & Drink magazine (LCBO) and a July issue of Alive magazine at Fortinos last night.

There's a place in Burlington that operates the WeatherTech factory store. It sells the CupFone that has been advertised on TV of late. Will go next week to buy one as a gift.

Floors need mopping today. I was thinking how cool a rose gold spray paint would be to cover a rusty pole in the yard (but I need a price and info if Tremclad even has that colour).

Adults with kids! Tomorrow and on Saturday, adults with children present can get a $5 gc per child (expires Aug 31 and must be used on purchase of $5 or more before taxes, excluding certain brand lines) as part of Toys R US report card day promotion. While quantities last at each store. I saw the promotion in the last TRU flyer, so don't miss out! Limit of one card per child.

Yesterday I got paid and went to Walmart and spent 110$ on junk food. Came home and went to sleep for 2 hours to get up exhausted still and in pain to my appointment on Burke Mountain. We went to Home Depot then Canadian tire then finally I went grocery shopping at superstore I spent 400$ on mine and my mother’s groceries I guess my mom doesn’t owe me money since I always sit on her for groceries throughout the month. The fridge and freezer is full of food and GST comes next Friday. Yay, Me! I even paid my sister back $30 instead the original agreement of $25, because she was waiting forever.

Today it rained so I wore pants first of this season so weird usually it’s shorts everyday since I bought camo shorts from Walmart. My mom was originally going to pick me up and take me into the next town but I couldn’t wait around until she did that. So I hopped on the bus in pain it’s my right hip I think it’s weather pressure change. I went to a
Pizza restaurant near my doctors called Papa Leo’s. I bought two big slices of pizza and pop for $7. And then walked over to my doctors office. this woman came in the office is empty except me and she sits beside me. I mean there’s other chairs besides the one beside me, but no she sits down beside me and begins to ask questions. Being polite I answer them all but really did I want to NO. I don’t have to walk anywhere until Saturday or Sunday afternoon, my feet hurt. But next week I am doing something everyday including Canada day. The MOA has me booked for next Thursday at 12:20pm for my doctors office these fluctuating times grind my bones.

I am currently waiting on a friend to get home from a meeting I am thinking on pan fried steak but waiting on till they come home to ask.
