hi im wondering what really is cnsidered a face value coupon... for example i know our brandsaver ones are .. but im wondering if there is written on the front and back of coupon .. up to value of 9.00 as in the the purina kitten food , is this also considered as a face value coupons.. thanks sorry if his is osted in wrong place

What context are you seeing this in? All I can think of is where most coupons say that the retailer will be reimbursed for the face value of the coupon. In that context it just means that if the coupon is for $1 off, the retailer will be reimbursed for the full $1 by the manufacturer. For a free product coupon, the retailer would usually be reimbursed for the full selling price of the product, unless the manufacturer states a limit on the coupon. As far as I know, the coupons themselves are not called "face value coupons."
