I always check the receipt. To verify the pricing (for SCOP), to verify promos, etc. Always
I try but sometimes not if I am in a hurry!

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. No matter what the situation is, as there is always a mistake (either theirs or mine). Especially when shopping with my friend in Whitby. We normally have at least two transactions, so we always want to make sure we get the right amount of points, the prices all went through right (regular, promo, or price match), and any other promotions going on at the time.
99% of time I check my receipt.
Always check receipt, and I ask for one if it's not given.
I always not only check reciept but i keep them for a while especially on higher ticket items. Alot of store offer a 30 day return and get the difference if the price goes down. I believe RCSS also does this with grocery items for 7 days (not sure if you can pm the price down or only if the price goes down within the store). On higher ticket items i have also recieved items that the store suddenly buddled the item i purchased with a free item. (eg. i got a free battery (125.00 value) 2 weeks after i bought my wife a camera and they came out with the same camera with a battery for the same price)
Always check my reciept -never fail .
I always ask for the receipt .But checking in fast....but now I will make an effort to check everything .I kept my receipts because I need and will need to know how I spend on grocery and shopping to fix a budget.....I know I purchase what I need with sales and price matching but I need a limit and a budget to give me an idea of what money I have
I always ask for a receipt and I always check my receipt
i try to check my receipts before i leave, especially if i know certain items should be at certain prices, that's how i get to use SCOPE. I do admit it is hard when I shop with my 3.5 yrs old (she can be a terror in stores) and an infant, that I just want to get out of the store as fast as i can
Some retailers confuse me when they ask, do you want the receipt. Are they trying to save paper? At the gas station, the cashier was new and did not apply my Air Miles. The cashier admitted he forgot how to do it and had to call his boss at home. I could have lost Air Miles, if I did not ask.
Yup. In fact this morning I had a spend $30 get 10,000 pco points and I spent $28.98. Didn't get the 10,000 at Shoppers so I reversed, bought a chocolate bar and got the points.

Yes ,at IGA I was charged for not the good item not at the same price(see yesterdays brag section) so glad I checked my receipt before leaving now I will do that each time no choice....
Mistakes on receipts are very common, so I always check the receipt when checking out. At least I still have the opportunity to get it fixed quickly if I catch it in the store.
