Im looking for an old time doughnut recipe using yeast. My mom used to make these great doughnuts using yeast. She would make the dough, then let it rise in a warm place. Roll it out and cut into doughnut shapes with her cutter. Then she would let the dough rise again and only then would she fry them.

So if anyone has a recipe like this i would really really appreciate it.

Thanks a bunch. I was looking through the recipe and it says to measure the flour on a scale. Ok, seems fairly easy, but what if you dont have a scale. Then what.

She was pretty adamant about using a scale so I think you could find one at dollarama if not definitely walmart
