I'd be interested to see a few examples of deals that are the same as or lower than the good sale prices at other stores. I'm not seeing much at all.

I didn't do Blue Friday. I shopped today.
My goal was $75 to get 35 AM on Load my Offers and get 12 AM and the STB partner.

4 bags of Tostitos $13
this got me 30 bonus AM Wub 3
and used a coupon for a Free Pepsi wub 4 $6.29

Persil Laundry pods $14.99
used FPC

Eggos $2.99
used .50 coupon
6 bonus AM
.50 on CO51

So with just those items I have spent 37.27
but OOP 15.99.
Got 36 bonus AM
and .50 on CO51.

I got other items all for prices I thought reasonable.

When I was done $55 OOP
86 AM and a STB partner done.

Did the STB coupon work?

CSR scanned and it didn’t register. She tried keying it in and I’m not sure if it worked either.

I didn’t get the 5x base pts per STB offer and nothing shows on the receipt referencing the STB coupon.

I was told by the cashier that the two coupons (100 bonus AM and Shop the Block) couldn't be combined so I chose to use the 100 bonus AM one since it was a one-day offer.

@Cake like you I passed on the Blue Friday but went Sat. and spent $77.00 OOP, earning 93 AM
I got one qualifying STB Sponsor offer. ( hooray only 6 more to go, ha ha )

Included in that 93 AM were

3 regular AM ( 1 for each $20.00 )

SAME! Cause as everything stands right now. I will not be able to participate this year, and this is normally the time I stock back up my Air Miles (I'm at about 600 or so, and those have lasted me since the last STB and I believe a small amount from MM).

Without this, I will eventually run out of Air Miles, or run very low. Cause I normally redeem during all redemption events (Sobeys, Foodland, Rexall, Metro, or Shell ONLY!), but at this rate, I won't be able to.

For anyone who did Rona offer ( Lepage one), was 20 AMs or offer code 1058 shown on your receipt ?
I asked cashier and she did enter 1058 but no 20 AM or offer 1058 on my receipt.
I wonder if I need to redo before Nov 27.

I hope not everyone is as disappointed with STB 2019 as I am. It was bad enough to see that the three BAM levels had been significantly nerfed from last year's, then even worse to learn that a number of the individual offers are less appealing this time. As a result, my still preliminary plan is to do three partners times two accounts, down from seven and five last year.

Disappointed is putting it mildly I did the full 7 for the previous STB promos but this year I'm not sure I'll even do 3.

I had opted in on the first day of STB to the BMO offer of spend 350.00 or 700.00 during the STB promo period to get BAM.
I'm just unsure if it qualifies as being one of the STB offers itself ? Would be great if it was ONE of the seven I hope to participate in.

The ones completed so far are 5 BAM gas at Shell, Sobeys 5x the miles, 20 BAM on LePages Adhesive ( I did one each at both Lowes and Rona ) in Dec. I'll do both the 50 BAM at Metro on Fresh2Go pizzas and the 20 BAM at Rexall

That should make SEVEN! ( if the BMO opt in one counts )

I just did that one last night at Rona and yes right on the receipt the line reads:

Bonus 1058: (1) x 20 Miles 20


otoh at Lowes it was truly disappointing. Even though the coupon WAS entered, all that shows on my receipt is my AM collector number. I am praying that it counts, the cashier seemed familiar with the offer
and said it does register with the AM, but just doesn't not show on the receipt.

It would be quite a surprise if opting in is enough to count BMO as a partner. Far more likely IMO, you have you opt in plus spend 350 or 700, which amounts only include participating partners, not all charges to your card.
