Bricks and Mortar Bank fees and service changes

CIBC has some changes taking effect on July 21, 2021. Bankbooks will be no more (last update possible is on July 18), some service charges are going up, increase in cost of money orders and so on. Second pdf link on this webpage: https://www.cibc.com/en/personal-ban...vice-fees.html

I was able to get my bankbook updated today-no counter statement was needed.

Note the account closing dates and fees, if applicable. There was a time when one closed an account in less than 90 days' time of opening and the bank would extract a big fee. After 15 days, $20 fee to close account but FREE if closed in person at branch.
