Unlike the other payments like OTB, HST, CCB etc - My Account in CRA doesn't show the OAS and GIS payments, so you can't even check if the extra $300 or $500 one time payment is coming or not.
I guess you just have to trust Trudeau on that one, I guess.
I didn't think My Service Canada account shows that extra one time covid payment. They probably just show the regular OAS, GIS and CPP payments, and the extra $500/$300 might not show up.
So you just have to hope & pray it comes in, because Trudeau said so!

Week of July 6, 2020 for the Seniors Covid payment. Seniors getting thrown under the bus again, especially low income and disabled seniors.
Every one else got help pretty quickly, not seniors though.

OTB lump sum or monthly amount (based on 2019 tax return) should be in direct deposit accounts TOMORROW. Cheques should be in your mailboxes in 5 business days following July 10.

I expect that Mom's bank statement will show up next week and list the $300 senior's benefit. Her OTB is a monthly sum and I saw the numbers on her letter from CRA.
Given that her bank is still using shorter hours for 5 days per week and that going to the bank seems to be more of a staff opportunity to redirect customers to using ATMS than actually providing teller service, I have not been pushing Mom to get confirmation of the sum via bank staff.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Why no online banking to check statement? Aren't they charging for mailed bank statements? (Or maybe it's free for Seniors.)
I think you can have just automated telephone banking also, without online banking, if you're worried about online banking security/hacking.
I think they give you last 10 transactions or something like that.

@tjthemanto RBC mails statements (bank did away with passbook updates in 2017 or 2018) with mailing date linked to surname's letter, as bank processes monthly fees for clients at different times of month depending if their surnames are in a certain alphabet range in that week.
Mom got her statements yesterday-on July 7, she received the CPP $300 and the GIS $200 amounts (CERP amounts for seniors).2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
