Hmmm...have to keep an eye out for the Quaker Oats, and see if Caddle deal is still active...probably NOT something I'm gonna eat when I'm nauseas, (sp?)...ugh, bad imagery there...!
(working my way to hate, hate, hate flyer...)This thread is currently associated with: MetroWant to buy me a coffee? You can! But, you don't have to! In fact, I encourage you not to. ('Cuz postage is ridiculous). But, if you insist on it...well, you can drop a buck, or two, here: paypal.me/cyn88canada I emphasize, you do NOT have to -- a coffee icon tossed my way is gold. + =

Thank you !!
Have been waiting for frozen fruit to go on sale. $2.99 is best sale price, but $3.33 is acceptable, and will be able to redeem AirMiles 95 points with 25 points back!
Now just have to *make* those smoothies...Last edited by beepbeep; Tue, Jan 14th, 2020 at 01:27 PM.

Over the Christmas holidays I posted a nice comment on Metro's facebook page saying what I really like about the store. I was surprised at how many people commented back to me about how they can't afford to shop there. Metro is the type of store that caters to all levels of income.
Metro's promotions all combine so you can use sale price, multiple buy discount/AM promo, use coupons, earn AM points and be entered into contests with the same product.
-Load all AM offers on your personal coupons section on their website.
-Ask the individual store what their coupon policy is. The one I use won't take printed coupons unless it's their own coupons.
-Sign up for emails for more AM offers, personal coupons and flash today only sales that need to be loaded or printed off.
-Every day has a special offer for some type of fast food item. Metro prices are cheaper then all the surrounding fast food places near me.
-Ask the store staff when they put items on clearance. I buy clearance bakery, meat, deli and fruits & vegetables that were full price just 5 minutes ago.
-Use special AM offers for points back days.
-In the flyer look for special deals like BOGO, buy more pay less,
-Check out the kosher and international aisles for sales because they also count on personal AM offers when it states "Any".
-Check out the clearance rack. Sometimes they get items that they don't sell, packaging changes, smaller companies try Metro as a test market for their products,

Those are very good tips. It's not just Metro I feel is expensive with the recent increase in groceries. Their prices aren't bad on sale and I especially love their store for uniqueness. Many types of fruit & vegetables I can't find in other grocery stores there.

@cyn88canada Quaker Oats are $2.00 in the No Frills flyer you posted if No Frills is closer than Metro for you. https://forum.smartcanucks.ca/attach...e-dsc03945.jpg
