tim horton's is changing to reward system to points beginning February 26 2020. no longer will you automatically get your 7th beverage free.
there hasn't been a lot of publicity about this yet so get ready!

The old point system was too good to be true.
It wasn't only drinks that counted towards the 7. I think every purchase above $1 counted (i.e. donut, cookie, hot food, etc.)
I really hope they don't stop usage of physical rewards cards like it says on the US website. I can't get their app to work on my phone!
This appeared when the Tim Horton's app was updated today.
