SiriusXM free in North America until May 15 2020!! (No Car Needed)

Hello!

I noted this on my twitter feed today!

If you are in North America, you can get all channels of SiriusXM for free until May 15, 2020.

No car needed!

If you have a smartphone you can download the SiriusXM app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. (I downloaded the SiriusXM Canada app to my iPhone.)

No need to register nor create an account! Just start enjoying!

If you do not have a smartphone you can do this from your laptop also at: https://player.siriusxm.ca/... same thing - no need to create an account nor register!

Just a nice musical diversion during this surreal time!

I already get Sirius XM. But I think it is nice of them to give freebies to those who don't.

thanks GoodBoy. I really like the oldies radio show channel. I couldn't afford to keep my Sirius account and had cancelled it almost two years ago. It will be so nice to listen again.

Lucky if you can get it, it really is great. Funny thing, they called me last week to tell me my free trial expired on the 4th when I bought my 2020 Chevrolet Traverse in early January. I have barely driven it (it was getting undercoated, then the pandemic) and didn't get to enjoy the stations at all. All they could do is offer a discounted rate but only if I want a whole year.

It’s just the app. But try to cancel and hold your ground. Their final offer to me was 5.00 a month for 12 months, but we have a family Spotify plan so I canceled and they are now emailing the 5.00 offer.

The final offer they gave me was $3/month but that was what 10 years ago lol so $5 is probably the lowest now. I don't drive that much so even the $3 a month was not worth it to me as I'd rather listen to local news / traffic anyway. Sure, it's nice for a change when they offer the free previews but I'd never pay for it.
