McDonald's Summer Drink Days 2020

Tuck this in the "rumour mill" for the moment...

I asked my insider at McDonald's if they were doing Summer Drink Days this year (usually started by now)
It was suggested that it will be running this year, but just with a slight delay...

We might expect mid-June (I was told the 15th or 16th) until Labour Day (Sept.7)

Looks like this never came to be... unless someone else can report otherwise, this doesnt seem to be the case in New Brunswick.

i did see an ad for this on TV recently though i couldn't tell you if it was a Canadian or an american feed i was watching

update-- a little bit of google and scrolling through the McD canada facebook page says it will start June 29th!

Bought one today. Boy that medium iced coffee sure has gotten smaller over the years lol.

I find that their iced coffee with cream is pure white/way too much cream over the last 2-3 years. I know they push a button and not pour it but its too gross for me and doesn't taste like coffee at all. I just get it with milk but I find that their iced coffee is lacking the coffee flavour. I haven't gotten lately but did their cup size change?

Just an FYI, You ^can always ask for half the amount of cream/milk. or get no dairy if you prefer.

I have in the past but they still add too much. So I just ask for milk. Maybe its just the locations I go to.

Ask for 'light ice' and you'll get more of the coffee portion.

The McDonalds at the Ancaster Walmart Supercentre is still closed! But there's a McDonald's restaurant west of the supercentre by the Longo's plaza.

The Walmart staff have no idea when their McDs may re-open. I must have asked every month since March.
