Value Village Super Savers club issues the private invites as per their July 2020 email. I think it might have something to do with controlling the size of crowds in stores due to pandemic safety precautions and maybe there was feedback from customers about stockouts on big sale event days. Missing the fitting room access in their stores!
Talize however does send sale e-mails about a week and also again a day before their big sales events (if you have the loyalty tag and have registered your e-mail for updates/newsletters). Wish Talize would e-mail their daily manager deals, as the Hamilton store no longer has a sign board in the lobby stating the deal of the day. I only knew the current offer on the day I visited when the staffer using the PA system recited the specials.
