Huzzah! We're back for more fun and frolickin'...or, at least, a few flyer sneak peeks! (Which was in doubt, since I had to restart my $#%!&* laptop to get it to run again...grrr!)
Today's blurb treat is last week's "funny" story which was culled due to lack of time -- only, with the passage of time, I think it's firmly entered into the "gross" zone...or, why do these things happen to me?!
Anyway...I was out for a walk with my mom in the early evening, and it was very windy. (Very few people wander around so we usually don't wear masks, and we do social distance if we encounter other pedestrians). We made it a few blocks and were just turning the corner to make it back home and I was commenting how the wind was nice, otherwise the heat would be unbearable...when, blaaargh! Big gust of wind! Huge gust of wind! Giant gust of wind...that blew a bug up my nose!!! Arrrrgh!!! Oh, gross, gross, gross. Ick! Sh*t! Sh*t! I don't have a tissue on hand! Frack! (Mom is laughing her head off at me). Ugh. Do you realize how hard it is to try to blow your nose with NOTHING on hand?! Oh, disgusting. Finally, after struggling a LOT, I managed to expel the bug out of my nose. And the worst of it, (even worse then having goober on my hands) was that the bug/gnat/thing...was still alive and squirming. oh, gross. (Mom was thoroughly chortling over how disgusted I was). Why do these things happen to me?!?! How does this happen?! What are the odds of a small bug entering a no go zone?!? Arrgh.
Lesson:
WEAR A FACE MASK!
It will stop bugs from going up your nose!! Trust me, it IS worth it!!!
...
...
... yeah, I should have just left this blurb in last week's scrap pile. Sorry. This thread is currently associated with: Food Basics, WIND MobileWant to buy me a coffee? You can! But, you don't have to! In fact, I encourage you not to. ('Cuz postage is ridiculous). But, if you insist on it...well, you can drop a buck, or two, here: paypal.me/cyn88canada I emphasize, you do NOT have to -- a coffee icon tossed my way is gold. + =

Face masks are great for allergies, as I usually start to sneeze indoors, and get a death stare if I don't wear one. But now I will add bug protector to it. 😂

Vaseline or Chapstick on a Q-tip helps moisturize the nostrils for blowouts. Or to cope with dry or cold weather too.
You made your Mom laugh! That's a feat to relish in a few more days' time.
Flyer-so many happy produce deals! Actually have discovered I can eat fresh blueberries if they are mixed with fresh strawberries but to a certain amount ( I liked my blueberries in baked goodies but it's too hot to bake in a no-AC household nowadays).2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
