The lead singer of the Diamonds is also the father of TOM HANKS.

If you were alive in 1957, The Diamonds" launched their super hit "Little Darlin' ". For you that are too young to remember - it was a time when the performers were happy, enjoying themselves, respecting their fans, dressed appropriately and their lyrics could be understood. They did not feel obligated to scream, eat the microphone, mumble inaudible lyrics or trash the set.


In 1957, The Diamonds had a hit with "Little Darlin". 47 years later, they were requested to perform at Atlantic City ... This link leads to both performances.

Friends on a whirlwind week visit from over 'ome! Should be fun. Hope everyone enjoys the weekend. Pity they don't arrive until monday or we might have used those "numb tix". Sure they'll go to a good cause though

There used to be a steakhouse in Chicago
(there are many incredible ones there)
That used to offer a 3 or 4 lb steak for $150.00 - 175.00 or so...
I do not recall exactly.....
They had a sign posted that if you were able to eat the entire steak
you didn't have to pay for it.

I Think I could manage a Free Meal.
We have Scales at w*rk, so I have weighed some of my Meals.
When Hungry, I can eat 2-3 lbs easily.

And... "YES"... I have eaten 2x Pounds of Bacon.
Never seems enough, though.
