Expired on: Fri, Aug 14th, 2020Hey people! Happy to report, no bugs up the nose this week!! (Wait...when did that become a thing...ack, never mind, delete the last 30 seconds of your memory...move along, now...)
Swiss chard looks good! Anyone with space to grow your own, though, should try it. My neighbour gave me some excess chard seedlings(?)...mini-plants, so mom grew them in the back yard -- they are amazingly easy to grow! Also, cut away the outside leaves when ready to eat, and the plant will grow back RAPIDLY. It keeps regrowing, we'll be eating chard for the rest of the season.
(Er, mom does not know I accidentally pulled up something else she was growing, thinking it was a weed...ooops...!)
