ON approved over 400 retired nurses to start working on COVID-19.
ON Ministry of Education approved licensed day care centers to re-open, provided they can prove they are able to meet infection control measures for children, staff, parents, guardians and have a good cleaning routine in place.

Keep people sick. Those are dangerous front line jobs.

Actually, McMaster University's fourth-year nursing students are asking for early release into careers without having to write the college nursing exams but department is not rushing the process.
Usually healthcare students have to wait a month after finishing last semester to write exams then wait a couple or few months for registration until pass results are attained.
I know in Italy that medical students in the same situation (last year of studies) have been released into the medical field. I'm sure they will have to make up that exam in the future.
In related healthcare news, a Halton doctor announced closure of office during pandemic and June retirement via newspaper classified ad. I'm sure there are patients gnashing teeth right now.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Yes.
CERB and EI can help a bit. But if you're a high income earner and accustomed to that lifestyle it won't help much.
But something is better than nothing.
