It's just one person's opinion, but anyway... I tried this stuff when there was an overage deal, and at $2.99 - $1.50 coupon, I definitely wouldn't buy it again. One main reason is that it's mostly palm and palm kernel oil, which may not be as bad as they're sometimes made out to be, but are generally less well-regarded than various oils that are liquid at room temperature.
Another is that while regular Becel contains these too, there's considerably less; the main ingredient is canola and/or sunflower oil. Furthermore, the same weight of regular Becel is often available for $2 - $1 coupon.
A third is that the texture is butter-like, which means it doesn't spread and doesn't cream easily for baking right out of the fridge. IDK if leaving it out makes it soft since I didn't try doing so.
Thanks for your opinion :) I have 1 package to use from the sample source fpc so I will try it before purchase it even at this price.
