Good morning. Well it's a cold day with wind coming from the east today. The nice thing is we get to turn on our gas fireplace
My SIL is coming for the week so things will be busier. I set up my Neilsen homescan yesterday and scanned away. It's amazing how fast I picked it back up again from years ago. I can't seem to get it to transmit though so my experience might be short lived. I'll give Neilsen a call when my SIL leaves.
I went to the mailbox this morning and had a wonderfully heavy envie from a very good friend that I met back in the days of frugal shopper. We used to meet up in the GTA for coffee and do some coupon shopping trips together. I was in complete awe at the amount of coupons she generously ROAKed. I definitely have to get a binder with plastic inserts for organizing my coupons.
Does anyone have suggestions on what works best for coupon organizing and porting these days?
    Have a wonderful day everyone!

    Good Morning Everyone,
Woke up with some ambition today which is rare for me these days so I got to it.

I made the Stuffing for my Stuffed Peppers, chopped up all the veggies and cooked up the filling. A little disappointed I just bought these peppers like a week ago and they were starting to get spots on them but when I cut one in half it was all full of mold. They are now stuffed in the Oven.

I sorted my Sweet Potatoes as I knew there were a few in the bag that where broken in half, the ones that were broken or one had a soft spot where put in the Instant Pot to cook. They have now been peeled and mashed and are cooling on the Counter.

I made the Mexican Dish which is Cheese Tortillas with Chilli Gravy, the longest part of this recipe was making the Chilli Gravy which takes about 20 to 30 minute. This is now in the Oven with teh Stuffed Peppers.

I still some Zucchini and and Spaghetti Squash I need to deal with but I am happy with my progress so far.

Laundry is going, first load in the dryer, last load in the washer so that will be done soon. I should wash out bedding but I do not have that in me today so maybe next weekend. I am hoping since I am working closer to home this week I will be home earlier and slowly clean the house each night and then next weekend I can take on some bigger tasks like washing the bedding and maybe tackling my Chest Freezer which I want to re organize.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day

Used the 1.00 liberte yogurt coupon today. 8 free yogurts. It’s seems so rare to use coupons now. I also took advantage OLG the hot chocolate deal at NF. On sale for 2.00 with a checkout 51 offer of 1.50 back. So I bought the max of 5 and was approved in minutes. The painter is starting in the basement tomorrow. I can’t wait. It has forced us to get rid of more stuff and is going to look great.

Yeah that was my thought as well. I use Rakuten when I can. I was wondering if it was worth getting to use in conjunction with CO51 or something like that. Not so keen on linking my cards though (despite them saying it’s safe- maybe I’m just paranoid).

Good morning! Well it's rainy and cold outside but still managed to get our dog out for a short walk. With SIL here, think it's a perfect day for a brunch and then we're making a Butterball turkey breast roast for dinner. That will give us some easy meals for the next couple of days.

No shopping plans until Thursday, will strategize for seniors day @ SDM. I like getting the $10 bonus card promo.
    Have a great day!

Good Morning! Ice rain has been falling for over an hour. (You can hear it hitting the ground/windshield but its not sticking like freezing rain)

Day has started off right. $5 pick up arranged for the porch 11am today.
Tossed my bedding in wash already. Dropped DS off at school. Stripped DS's bedding ready for the next load.
Sink full of hot soapy water to wash yesterdays dishes (it was a heat and eat kind of day)
Just chatted with my honey while he is on the road and we planned dinner- Taco salad!
I'm going to pop out to get avocados and cucumbers. And think I will check out roasts at RCSS. Tomorrow's dinner is roast beef, gravy, carrots and potatoes. Will prep it all today so it's oven ready tomorrow. (either fresh bought roast or will take one out of the freezer)
Clean out the fridge today since tomorrow is garbage day.
Post 20 new items for sale! (this is the goal today while cleaning up the garage and packing up for sale stuff for Spring garage)

Have a great day everyone! Stay Frugal

Brrr its chilly out in the garage. My porch pick up is coming now so I came into the house. Once he comes and goes I will go back in the garage and get organizing. I have a bin started for new in the package items. Will bring it in the house and take pics and post for sale. Hopefully get a few more items out of the house by the days end and a few more bucks in my envelope
