Tangerine bank, or TING does not offer this to everyone, unfortunately

On savings accounts, including high interest savings accounts, tax free savings accounts, registered retirement savings accounts, earn up to 2.0% interest on new deposits.

Check your email and log in to your account. You must click to accept the offer for it to be applied.

If you did not receive an offer, call the customer service number and tell them you would like the offer everyone else is getting.
If you also have an account at Simplii financial, quote the 2.3% interest rate and ask for the same.

If they say no to any promotional interest for you, ask to speak to a manager/escalate to a complaint.

If no luck after that, move small amounts out of Tangerine Bank on a regular basis. For some, this triggers them to offer you promotional savings interest rates at the next offer. For example, after April 1, 2021.
