It was so nice to get a PC offer on an item I frequently purchase. 5 cents back in points (50 PC points for each purchase).

I fell like there has been shrinkflation on pineapples. I'll see that pineapples are on sale for a good price, but when I get there, the pineapples are half the size of what I would expect.

What size are you expecting? I found the pineapples to generally weigh about 4 pounds (+/- 0.5lb)
I agree that they do visually appear to be smaller, but I have not bought any in quite awhile, to confirm their weight.

Personal care-this summer the 100ml regular Colgate toothpastes that often go on 99cent sales are 5ml smaller, as I bought one such tube.

Yesterday I saw that a clearance priced Crest toothpaste with Scope was only 50ml. Fairly certain that product when launched had been 75-90ml in volume.

I've never seen this before (with Christie Toppables).

    Before shrinkflation, 454g: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/CHRISTIE-TOPPABLES-Crackers-454-g/6000001798041

    After shrinkflation 386g: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/CHRISTIE-TOPPABLES-Crackers/2RM5ROM3FGIT

Now 454g Family Size with 17% more crackers with yellow band to make sure you notice the larger box: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/Christi...RD245H1VKF7D6P

For people with short memories paying more for Faimily Size doesn't sound that bad because you're getting more crackers but it's actually the same size as the package before shrinkflation.
It's like a thief returning stolen property and making it sound like a gift.

I have two cans of different beans. Both say that they are 398mL and 14 fl.oz, but their can sizes are different. One is shorter than the other. Otherwise, their dimensions are the same. There is no physical or logical way both can be right.

Could the company have used up existing labels before using correct ones for smaller cans?

The Jane's chicken pub strips box is 700g and contains 19 strips. The box used to have about 27 strips before box size /weight shrunk.
Mind you, the strips were on sale and company likely realized much product moves during sales.

There might be some short-term opportunity, if the stores are eager to liquidate their current inventory to make room for the new.

    What was the previous weight?
