@cath007 finger crossed. I missed the last one so hopefully I don’t miss this but me schedule is so much better tomorrow. I have a pick up to do from my freebie group. Then I am stopping at superstore. Not sure if anyone noticed but chicken thigh is $1.88 for PCO members. Plan to buy a few packs as it’s something DS1 likes to cook with.

@cath007 Time to put your foot down with each specialist. Ask him or her why he/she will not look at the first scan you paid for, as you've been stiffed for at least two scans and the money spent is adding up. If they are all members of the same professional college (you should look up their website to see what the rules are in case you have grounds for a complaint), there needs to be acceptance of the first scan but you are getting their interpretation.

I will ask you if the specialists/dentists use Pocket Health to send you electronic images of your scans. It cost me an initial $5 to join the network but your medical care practitioners have to be using the system, otherwise you cannot get the images. I have mammogram images, but not biopsy scans as the latter place is using some CD system & software that won't work anywhere else, online.

Guess Vanilla Prepaid cards are serious about customers waiting 24h after purchase for their cards to WORK. I have entered my card info at least three times, all fields get red checkmark but clicking on SIGN IN button generates a SYSTEM ERROR> Please come back later type of message. So, I thought, let me try to shop on one retailer's site; site could not verify the card. Looked at store receipt-it says that if I attempt to redeem or to do a balance inquiry before 24h, card may become VOID> Yikes. Food Basics only has the Vanilla cards with the different colour card fronts but not theperfectgift.ca cards with the boring shiny silver cardfronts for the different denominations. Lesson learned-I can use the Perfect Gift Visa cards right after registering the card and checking the balance after purchase. *First time seeing AMEX prepaid cards for sale at Food Basics. I never looked for them before and Mapleview Centre uses them for their reward promotions.*

Did a one-item shop of low value (Nordstrom) when I looked at last night's card and learned there was more than $3 left on it. Just enough to cover order with about 20 cents left. I'll see if I can use the two low-amount card balances to apply value to my printing balance on my library card. Otherwise, it'll be difficult to use up the tiny balances (and I don't wish to lose money deliberately).

The summer nightgown I bought last year-ongoing fit issues. As I could not decide on a sleep top for purchase last night, my thrifty mind indicated that I need to alter the nightgown into a sleep top to accompany the new sleep pants I have ordered. It'll be a bit puzzling but cost effective, with less fabric going out the door into the garbage. My sewing machine's serger is a joke so that will be the main puzzle after ensuring fabric does not ravel its edges upwards.

Women LL Bean fans-the Bay has a couple of their Ultralight 850 down vests at half off (reg $319, sale $159.50) on clearance>check the Coats, Jackets and Blazers category or search LL Bean directly on the HBC site.

Noize brand outerwear (at the Bay)-was that a line at Addition-Elle? I used to like some of A-E's winter coats but not the 3-digit price tags.

25 cents is an incentive to sample a product!
I remember riding our bikes to Mac's Milk and filling up the little brown bag with penny candy

This is why so many friends loved coming to my house, I had two convenience stores we could walk to and get our little brown bag of candy although I think in my time it 5 cent candies but there were still a few penny candies

Lunch was 1/2 a beef dip sandwich I brought home for oldest DS. His Gf isn't eating beef so they made wings and onion rings last night (texting me and knocking on bedroom door to ask me a million questions on how to cook them in the airfryer lol) For the youngest DS I brought him home Chicken Parm. He was making soup when I came home but ate it a few hours later before bed lol

I printed off a fruit crisp recipe that I can use the frozen fruit I stocked up on. Will try my luck with it tonight or Thursday night.
