It’s sounds like a few of you have had not so great days. So I send you a virtual hug.
I took some time off this morning and had breakfast with two good friends. Both are retired nurses and one just retired in the spring and this has been our 1st chance to catch up in person. It was so nice to catch up and I honestly felt rejuvenated for the rest of the day.
save your PCO if you are still up.

**hugs** to everyone having a rough day

I am also struggling a little bit right now, I am being pulled in so many directions it is making my head spin. I had been hoping to book a couple of days off work to refocus and recharge but every time I try I either find out we hired a new staff member who needs training or someone is away and I need to cover them.

At home is not much better, our house is still in chaos from the flood because everything in the basement is dismantled and we cannot move it back until the waterproofing is done. There is no work on when the waterproofing will be done. Will ask Mom to email them today for an update.

I just feel like I am spinning in circles trying to keep on top of everything and the chaos in my house is starting to get to me a little bit. It feels like nothing is where it should be and anything we go to do there is stuff in the way that shouldn't be there.

Yesterday we were supposed to be having dinner with bro for his Bday but Mom hurt back (I am worried, she can barely move and really needs someone there to help but with my schedule right now there are days I just cannot be home and we do not have anyone else who can help) so we have postponed dinner. Only thing was we had already pulled the homemade sauce to make the lasagna so we went ahead with lazy lasagna for dinner. But we were out of Ricotta Cheese. I ran to No Frills to get some and they had none and the store in general was very empty, a lot of shelves were bare. Not sure if it is just my store or if we are starting to see some of the shortages they have been warning about. Grrrr another reason I need to really go and do my Costco shop.

Our Mini Food Processor broke last week, I used this all the time in my food prep and I see Wal-Mart has one on sale might have to go look at it.

    Have a Great Thursday everyone

@Angela273 and @SassyAshley Please give yourselves some "me-time." Each one of you is juggling so much. Let the balls drop for time for what you need. (((Hugs))) Can you prioritize something for you this this week?

Cancelled Amazon Prime just minutes after speedwatching most of remaining episodes of Carnival Row. Amazon gives two screens of reasons not to cancel.
Then glanced at tracking package information. My 2nd HBC order went to Ottawa. I sent a feedback related to shipping. I looked up Lancaster ON and it's out near Cornwall ON. Irksome thing is order originated in Cambridge, about 45min drive northwest of Hamilton. Sigh.
My point is no matter how much money was paid to influencers to rep The Bay online as their Bay, there are still shipping hiccups adding 3-4 days to delivery time. Budget for that oops to happen at least once for every 5 orders. Been there! Don't get disappointed esp. if it's a gift order.

No chartered banking services today due to new federal holiday. Credit unions are likely open unless they indicated closure to reflect holiday. No postal services.

Will put some laundry to line-dry outside and head to library to return loan items. Have to see if weekly paper and flyers have arrived (nothing came last week so I was thrilled to get Shoppers' copy of the paper on Sunday-it's left on newspaper rack for anyone to take). Lentil stew has been consumed; need idea for lunch (aka pantry surprise). Want to look at two shop windows on my walk (our town has a few stores that make an effort ensuring window displays are maintained and updated!).

Tomorrow morning, I'll get my second vaccine dose. Glad that Ontario hit the 80% of population vaccinated goal.

Morning -my stomach is still a bit off ,so just had a tea now with a piece of toast .

I was going thru my old nailpolish ,small mudan jobs .Reorganizing my pull out tote on wheels in my computor room .

Hubby went to build a shelf at my sons for his garage ,so no car for me yet .I may go to shoppers later for my milk etc (seniors day).My son now works shifts ,so glad to hear he is meeting his wife for lunch ,she will leave her work and meet him as he works everyother weekend and with 2 small girls maybe they dont get a lot of time for the 2 of them .

I get back $166 from the $409 i paid the other day to specialist from our insurance ,i guess better than nothing .

Are you noticing shortages in any other stores?

I haven't seen shortages of any type, after the initial run on toilet paper and such at the start of the pandemic.
