Last month, I posted in the August 2021 Frugal Chatter thread how the Burlington Centre (ON) store, upper level, has a Zellers area. Now you can see images in this online article about the start of Zeller pop-up stores.

The black and red tote bags under the Buffalo Check flannel shirts are the $35 ones I posted about. Mostly bedding, bags and sweatshirt apparel plus toys and a small stand of baby clothing (the rest of baby/toddler apparel is around the bend behind the Zellers section).

No, I don't recall this cucumber disaster.

I never made it to the last Zellers/HBC Outlet store at Cloverdale Mall before it closed about two Januaries ago to look for laundry accessories and housewares.

The Bay needs to read the e-commerce reality: if the Zellers brand can't thrive as a boutique or third-party seller on the HBC platform, don't bother creating a separate Zellers site. It'd be nice if each Bay store that will host a Zellers boutique isn't about the $35 black shopping totes with Zellers logo. I'd love to see the return of the made in Italy rounded plastic clothespins, some small kitchen wares aka CorningWare with updated designs and open stock as Target had in its stores, some Zeller branded items (not necessarily Zeddy stuff) and toys. Since the Bay hardly stocks much in toys in its own stores...except in the baby section (limited as it is in 2022).

Burlington Mall location-the Bay better have fixed the flooring issues from the second-floor elevator by now or that will be a pop-up store failing! I have not been back to the Burlington Mall location since last summer...

Scarborough Town Centre is ritzy after recent mall upgrades including the food court-there's an urban IKEA store coming this summer and a Nations Food or T&T store, both in the former Sears store location. The Zellers store better be spiffy at that site-it's Toronto!

August 11= Pickering Town Center and Oshawa Center. New pop up stores. And you can get to these using GO Transit.

Well, the Burlington Centre pop-up store is moving to Brampton, while the store chain opens a new Zellers pop-up down the road at Mapleview Centre.

I've seen chatter about a Toronto area Bay store turning into a clearance centre.
