I believe the laundry reproduced while I was not looking, i am on load number 4. The kids contributed 2 loads but they do put it in the wash and usually move it along but then I realized we were almost out of towels and I want to do sheets on Sunday so here I am. Busy day today of just stuff. Posting some things to give away and did a SDM trip that will net me 26000 point once the 5000 for using my PC MC is rewarded. Not much needed for groceries as we did a Costco trip last night. I had a bunch of returns and wanted to get my money back, then I spent almost 400.00 but that happens when I only go every few months and there was a few gifts in there and a new set of much needed frying pans.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

@coupon girl I recommend you visit different Winners as each store has a different mix of merchandise (but some categories have seriously shrunk like pantry/food in Ancaster stores). Try Upper James Store and Burlington Centre.
Also-have you popped into Len's Mill store lately? You might find some sleepwear there too.
Pyjama pants-most pjs are synthetic now. The Bay has a Hue grey pant with black and white script and wide legs. Might be on sale now.

There's also this gaucho pant length pyjama pants: https://www.thebay.com/product/hue-p...78_color=WHITE
https://www.thebay.com/product/hue-n...815_color=BLUE
https://www.thebay.com/search?q=clau...on=&lang=en_CA
Giant Tiger has fuzzy fabric pyjama pants (various colours and prints) for about $7 but the hems are serged. Might be long if you are under 5'6" unless you want to use Heat & Bond tape to take up the hem with an iron."This is the Way." The Mandalorian

Was looking around the Free Stuff category for Hamilton in Kijiji. Spotted a couple of things I want except one thing needs 2 people with muscles and a truck. Bro is so uninterested, he deleted my e-mail.
Will check that category in other communities to see what is on offer--maybe something lines up with my trip to Burlington next week.
Will do a walk to a couple of stores tomorrow (think I saw a Monopoly package with 2 game stickers on my ride between stores this afternoon!). Was not feeling keen to go out tonight after supper.
A house that sold this spring got some updates but curiously not everything got fully redone (have impression that realtor bought the home to flip or to rent as house is listed for rental). The kitchen cupboards got new fronts and handles, plus new fridge, stove and vent hood were put in and a rather dark subway tile backsplash was added. The colours are all wrong for the west side of house. New grey coloured engineered hardword flooring installed throughout. No work done in basement. Bathroom counter/sink/vanity replaced but the original tile was left (it's an uncommon colour; something left by vanity screams someone forgot to remove that wood/odd piece before photo was taken). A deck was installed outside the patio doors but the wood jars badly with the brick; does not look like anyone stained the deck. However, all this work seems to have been done between July and September (when I first spotted the rental listing). No remediation of front yard (some rough areas) and it's obvious a tree was cut up but no one removed the wood (it's in a few pics)."This is the Way." The Mandalorian

Was fortunate to find Oct and Nov issues of Consumer Report. Looking forward to shopping smarter tips plus the truth about dollar stores.
@Angela _273 There's one dishwasher contest posted on the forum. I'll see if I can find more. Meanwhile, are you and DH scouting Facebook Marketplace or Kijiji for free or low-priced secondhand units for now? If you have a major appliance vendor with outlet section, you might find a dishwasher for less in outlet. The other option is to find a secondhand appliance vendor (or maybe a neighbour is updating their kitchen and letting working dishwasher leave?)."This is the Way." The Mandalorian

Made my first pot of turkey chili. I really don't taste much difference from beef chili, but I bet that the cholesterol is much lower. Thanks for the idea.
My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

Good Morning Everyone,
I am sore but not in as much pain as I expected. Pretty much everything below my neck hurts but I am trying to take it easy.
Yesterday I spent the day on my couch catching up on some work things. I have been working really hard to not work on weekends but I used it as a distraction from the fact I was not tackling my very long to-do-list around the house.
Originally I had planned to switched the beds over to our winter sheets but stairs are bad right now so that is on hold.
Our kitchen is a disaster so today I am going to try to slowly work at tidying it up. I still need to come up with a meal plan for the week. This week is going to be a challenge I am completely booked so I have to try to be as prepared as possible.
Have a great Sunday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
