Tonight is student led conferences, so it’s a 12hr day at the school for me. Report card marks and comments are due this Friday. It’ll certainly be a busy week.
Great news that you can submit your receipts!

    Good Morning Everyone,
Feeling a bit better today but still my sinuses hate me. I am really trying to avoid antibiotics because the last 2 times they put me on them they did not help. I have learned there are two types of sinuses infections viral and fungal and antibiotics only help viral infections but there is no way to tell which one you have. Issue is if it is fungal the antibiotics will actual make it worse.

I ended up working late last night, I was working on a project and things were flowing so I just kept going.

I was supposed to be a branch today but my trainee is not in so it is a work from home day. Hoping to knock out everything and if possible end a little early today so I can tackle some stuff around the house. I forgot to order the insulation I need or else I would have gone and picked that up today.

I think tonight I will try to empty my stockpile room so I can clean it and then over the weekend I can start moving everything back in.

    Happy Wednesday Everyone.

Bright and chilly day! Members living in NW Ontario have a potential for lots of snow on Friday. Be ready...

There's was a light rain last night on my walk home from the beer store (50 cents in container refunds). I had raked yesterday morning and a bit in afternoon. Managed to add 3 more leaf bags to curb collection before the early morning crew came by to pick up bags. There are maybe two leaf bags left to use and I think leaf raking has jumped the shark for me this season. Simply too much and this is the only week I'm willing to rake (some trees are entirely bare and others still have 1/3 of cover to drop). Then I will forget about them unless there's a slip on sidewalk due to frozen leaves.

Toy update-it seems to have arrived today in Hamilton. It might be in the mailbox any minute now...yippee!
@Giseledta Speaking of bonus points;Well.ca has 15000 Be Well points for $50 spent on toys (until Nov. 14 on their website).

Watched Spirit Untamed Dvd before it had to go back to the library. Definitely plenty of spirit in character dialogues. Found the animation to be very cold in some parts of the movie. It was like watching Reboot sometimes (very grey/blue CG series).

Transferred the last 50 cents on each of two prepaid cards onto library card this morning. Then discovered baby-to-be's registry is posted online and that took up most of my print fund to make a copy. Printed my two Value Village coupons and one Simon's offer ($10 off future order for The Simons members).

Hear you on the credit card bill. We had a very large one as well. Oil lube and filter and tire change this week.. we thought we got off ok without any repairs needed. Nope, front brakes and some thinga mahoobie that was broken (yes, we heard the rattling sound a few times). The mechanic said we could carry the bill forward to next week for the tires/lube but I prefer to have smaller "bill" shock when going next week. We're lucky tho, our mechanic basically does a full check when we get a lube done.

It's been a busy few days. Tomorrow is a cleaning get ready for weekend guests day. Food plans..something from the freezer...perhaps some sweet tater fries (homemade) and burger (previously Bqd in the freezer)

Have a wonderful shopping strategizing evening

Our friend lost her best friend 2 weeks ago due to sepsis from a sinus infection she had dragging on. She finally got anti biotics but not in time. She was too young.
Go see your doctor or perhaps a walk in for a different perspective, there are lots of other options in addition to anti biotics. I found a steroid nasal spray prescription helped me once. You seem to get a lot of sinus infections, perhaps you should ask for a referral to an ear, nose, throat specialist. You are too special a person to feel sick so often. Hugs Crafter.

Sorry to hear of your friend's loss.

Thank you, I did get more nasal spray, my doctor leaves repeats at the pharmacy for me because of my sinuses. Yes, my sinuses hate me, they did a bunch of tests but have found nothing medically wrong with them. The specialist would not see me based on my test results.

I will see how I feel tomorrow, I was feeling really good today until the sun went down and then the sinus pressure started again. Fingers-crossed I am over the hump and things are all good.

Thank you for your concern, it is appreciated.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Up early and getting at it. I think my body is used to being up a little early on Thursday as normally I cover a manager on Thursday so they can help in another area but they were not needed today so I am not covering but was still awake at 4:45 this morning.

Not complaining about being up and early, I am working on a few projects right now and finally feeling like I am progress so I am happy. Yesterday I started working on my year-end stuff for work and I always forget how long these reports take to run and organize. It is an hour or two it is more like a day or two of focused work time.

Yesterday I did manage to get one set of shelves in the stockpile room cleared off so now I just need to wipe them down. Only issue is these shelves have a lot of little holes which makes getting the drywall dust out challenging.

I took a look at the upcoming Flyers for this week and I have quite a list but most of it is stock up stuff to have on hand. Trying to figure out my best plan of attack since Price Matching is getting harder and harder as my local stores keep changing who they will Price Match. My No Frills is not Price Match friendly when it comes to produce so that is when I end up going from store to store. We will see.

I am also going to call the doc, I feel better but it should not be taking this long so it is time to go. I needed to go next week for something else anyways so hopefully I can combine the two appointments into one.

Happy Thursday everyone, the week is almost over.

SA-perhaps a hair dryer or shop vac would blow the dust out of the holes and then you can just wipe the shelf down. I love dusting with my shop vac and blowing it away. I also use it to suck up crumbs in the freezer, crisper and cutlery drawer. So fast. Wish I could use my power washer inside too-lol.

Thanks @lizzie bargain , we do not have a shop van or a hair dryer, I was thinking of using my vacuum since it is just the dust. I have picked up all the big chunks and washed the floor once but there is still dust.

I am officially in the I hate drywall dust phase.

Good evening. Well this week has gone by quickly. We've seen some friends, changed our insurance company and now invited friends for the weekend. I'm really glad that I've been trying my "micro cleaning" I've already dusted and cleaned some areas so I don't feel as pressured.

I'm going to keep my grocery shopping to a minimum at Metro tomorrow. They have stew beef and a few things on sale.. I was kind of surprised with my Metro offers this week. I only received to AM offers and they didn't even offer me Eggo's for .99 cents! Let go of my Eggo!

Cleaned out the fridge while making quesidias for dinner using up the leftover roasted from yesterday. (sounds like a few of us made roasted chicken!!) Put the leftover chicken in a sandwich bag so I don't have another dish to wash when its done.

DS has hockey tonight so I will roam around town for the hour while he is on the ice and get my steps in. I already walked downtown today and it was beautiful out and I was warm with my fleece zip up and short winter jacket.
