I have not checked Shoppers but usually my store has Carnaby Street candies left for sale.
Even Fortinos on Sunday had replaced Halloween candy/chips with Christmas packaged treats near the checkout lineup.
How many kids visited your neighbourhood for candy?
@Ciel21 : no kids because where I live it is a none busy street and I am in appart and the street is all appart.
I did not had out treats this year but I was looking out to see if there was lot of trick or treaters and I guess about 30 kids I saw not much Before COVID we would have over 200 kids come through our neighbourhood
I had about 70 kids years ago i would get 140 kids
Just please don't hoard it until next year and give it out. Nasty.
Plenty of old candy being handed out. Which subsequently went in trash.
Be better.
find creative ways to use it in holiday baking
@dyalect I'm surprised that some people would do that but the world has all kinds of people. Good that you are keeping watch on candies in your area.
OP would not do that. Like everyone else on Smart Canucks, she simply wanted to know if people are finding Halloween candy discounted after the day. It's fun to enjoy one's favourites and get a deal in November.
I have noticed that most stores seemed keen to have pushed sales on the two weekends before Halloween. Very little or no stock (especially if it's a brand name confectioner) seen in Grocery Stores where I am this week.
