There is a hole dug under my front porch. Pretty sure it's rabbit(s) as I saw some this summer in the yard but didn't think much about it. Now thinking they have burrowed under my cement porch. I also have patches of bare soil on my lawn now. I'm guessing it's from their urine? I don't know but I want whatever it is to leave. I filled the hole with rocks and a brick but think that won't do it. They will dig again. I heard garlic and pepper is something they don't like. Could I sprinkle this around the porch for a few weeks and hope they leave, then fill the hole ? Any advice/help would be appreciated. Thanks !

According to my google search… “To discourage pesky rabbits, try dusting your plants with plain talcum powder. Since rabbits are great sniffers, powdered red pepper sprinkled around the garden or on targeted plants may keep them out. Irish Spring soap shavings placed in little drawstring bags around the garden will also help to keep rabbits away.”

Are those bare patches located within small depressions?
In my daily runs, I come across lots of rabbits huddled over depressions in the grass. They seem to prefer specific locations and come back over, and over; even when I run past and scare them away every day. I have no idea why they behave this way. They are not digging into the ground.
My mother uses paprika powder and it seems to do the trick for her garden. My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.
