Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Monday. Not sure why but I woke up feeling really groggy today Although I do remember waking up during the night and thinking I slept in but then convinced myself today was Sunday not Monday, when my alarm went off I realized it was Monday LOL.
So happy I have food made/planned for this week. When I have weeks like this where I am booked solid, I get in my head about getting everything done. I start to worry I won't be able to keep up with everything. I love my job, I love working with our staff but I do not think people see the other side. They do not see the side where, yes I am working but I am not working my own stuff which means I am falling behind. It becomes a snowball effect, I get behind at work, then I get behind at home and that is when my mind start spinning and I start losing focus and get overwhelmed. Hoping with some careful planning I will keep on top of everything.
Tonight we will be having Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie, all of the veggies expect the potatoes are chopped and in the fridge. The sauce is made and in the fridge and the chicken is defrosting so on my lunch I can put it in the slow cooker. You are supposed to serve it with Biscuits but I am not the biggest fan of Biscuits so yesterday I made Dinner Rolls I will serve on the side.
My goal for this week is to clean the upstairs Hallway, a lot of "stuff" has collected their and has not made it to it's home. Depending how long that takes, I also needs to scrub down bathroom and deep clean it.
Happy Monday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I just went out to shovel the light stuff before it accumulates.I told my neighbour to thank his 23 year old son for shovelling the driveway yesterday. Then i asked him if he noticed shortages in the grocery stores and he said on the rice krispies(he went to 2 different stores) and the laundry soap at costco they always buy (dont know the brand and didnt ask him)
I told him i went into fortinos for the first time in ages to treat hubby to their wings and fries had a personal points offer also .I managed to grab a few cpns on the board and a bit of fruit etc .Then his comment was wow they are expensive there(yeah -lol) Well during this pandemic i feel the odd treat is nice(didnt say that thou just thought it) .
Just doing laundry today and my puzzle .

Good afternoon. Our weekend flew by. We have a charity pick up tomorrow so I need to be practical about what clothes I really need to keep. I was going to get rid of my longer socks but DD would like them so I'll stuff them back in my drawer. We also have several random items in the basement but DH wants to try to sell some items first.
I think we'll have a simple pasta tonight possibly with a spinach salad.
Have a great day!

OH MY, I put the Chicken Pot Pie on at lunch and let me tell you, my house smells AMAZING right now. The smell kind of reminds me of our potato stuffing and oh my, sitting here smelling it is making so hungry but we still have about 2 hours until it will be ready.
I got all of the hand dishes done this morning in between training session and ate lunch so I am happy.
Sometimes I feel like the only person who struggles with eating. Most people I know are always talking about eating less where is I am opposite, if I am focused on something, have something to do, I can go all day without eating.

Not going to lie a little disappointed with Dinner. It smelled amazing well it cooking but when we went to eat it, it lacked flavour. The sauce was very thick and the recipe said to not worry as the veggies would let off moisture but the issue is you layer the dish so the veggies are on the bottom sauce is on the top so it felt like the little moisture it had cooked out. I did stir it half way through which helped but there still was not enough moisture and some of the veggies were still a bit crunchy.
Not saying I would not make it again but I would definitely tweak it a bit. The sauce needs to be thinner and more flavour added.
Had a bit of a "moment" today with work. I was getting flooded with emails and getting overwhelmed but I took some time, laid some things out in a fashion that made more sense to me so my brain could process and came up with a realistic timeline. I have really been working on prioritizing what needs to be done and what can wait but now I need to work on being realistic with what "needs to be done now." I understand these things are important but I am a department of me, myself & I and when I am spending half of my day if not more training then things will either need to wait or I need help.
Now to tackle some house stuff.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good Morning Everyone,
My energy level is lacking lately. I think it is a mixture of the weather (I know I live in Canada but winter is not my season, I am like a bear and just want to hibernate) and a lack of movements. With the hours I work I spend so much time just sitting at my laptop and now that we are back into the full swing of training there are less chances for me to get up and move around. At times I am literally in training sessions for 2 to 3 hours where I am sitting.
We have an air walker or health walker we want to move up the living room but our living room has become Mom's craft room since our basement is not really a workable area. It is so cold down there even with the heat on. We need to make some changes in the basement but we do not have $$$ right now. The first big project we need to have done is the bathroom.
Tonight's dinner will be Crock Pot Pepper Steak over rice. I will need to make the rice because I didn't on the weekend but based on my schedule for today, I can set the Slow Cooker before my first training session and then cook the rice after my last training session.
Yesterday was one of those days were I really felt like I needed a long weekend so I look it up and family day is not until the 21st this year. Seems late, maybe just me?
Hopes for today, tidy the upstairs hallway, a lot of stuff that just need to be moved to it's home or bagged up for donation.

@coupongirl I hope your brother gets better soon.
Love not having time of use. It works out cheaper for me, and currently Ontario is at the lowest rate due to the lockdown. My biggest hydro use is the dryer and a/c. I have started air drying some of my clothes to make them last longer and add humidity to my home.
I bought a warm cardigan at Old Navy 30% off that I love, and I'm debating whether to buy a second one, as I practically live in this one. So happy that its the 25th and January is almost over.
Have a great night everyone.
